    Madisonville is no push-over. Good size upfront with some speed. Should be a solid team by mid season. They should be able to play with Mayfield but don't seeing them winning.. Christian County was able to make several big plays to pull last week win. Mayfield with Jackson should be able to do the same. Will be interesting to compare Jackson stats with Mosley from Christian who had over 200 yards rushing and 100 recieving.

    Both Hoptown and Christian have won 2 state titles in football. Only 1 in basketball that was recently by Christian County lead by Anthony Hicky.

    They won't go Oferd this year. They drop their first game(Henry Clay) and pick up Lancaster Academy, Tenn. Lancaster is a private Christian school k-12 with a student population aroung 300. Their not sanction by the state and usually play other Christian schools in the surrounding states. Think they won a game or two the last several years since starting football.

    Watching most NFL games you you will notice that not many players wear the hard plastic chin straps. Most players wear the soft leather ones and seen even the old school chin strap by Riddle from the 80's era (mainly QBs). I agree with ft bronc on his assessment.

    Should be a good one.. John Hardin has a good offense and should keep BG on their toes. I'm going with BG at home by 3 points even though their kicking game is not as good as years past.
