I don't think most folks realize how good this Henderson team is. This is the best team Christian County will play untill late in the Playoff's. Henderson is big and aggressive upfront and will test Christian young lines on both sides of the ball. Last year Henderson came within a wisker of playing in the 6A title game and appear to be a much better team this year. Their QB is very good and makes their split-back veer tough to handle. This will be a good measuring stick for both teams. This is Christian County youngest team in recent memory returing only 1 starter on offense and 4 on defense. Besides Trinty, ST. X and maybe Scott County Henderson should be in the top 5 in 6A this season.

Yes their old coach is the one who wanted this game for the 6,000 dollars.. Now why Scott take the game? Beats me! I guess playing them will get them ready for X abd Trinity.

Seriously.. Scott is one of the elite teams in 6A playing a school who won't have 30 kids dressing. Feel sorry for Webster's players and new coach who has to be scratching his head why did the past coach agree to play these guys? No win situation.

If Hoptown had a hard time stoping last weeks opponent who lost all of their playmakers they won't stop Lone Oak athletes. Lone Oak by 30 or more.

Snake is right.. Greenwood is a pretty physical team. Mayfield's win is impressive on the road. I think Mayfield is the number 2 team in WKY Behind only BG.

Madisonville went 3 and out first series and County got the ball around the 40. Scored two plays latter. One TD was set by a int around the 30. So the defense did set the offense up pretty good. Crowly the transfer ran the last TD from around midfield.

Very well could be but not playing good teams early will hurt em n the long run. Their playing Webster next week who have less than 30 kids.

Game was called off at 8:00 mark of the 3rd Q. Madisonville had a player go down with a compound fracture. Very ugly. While attending the injuried player 2 Madisonville fans have heart attacks at the same time.. Wildest thing I have ever seen. Madisonsville Super ask for the game to end.

Grew up watching Atherton football n the mid 70's. Still have jerseys from back in the day. Don't understand with such a nice campus why they can't get enough athletes to be competitive again.

Saw Clarksville last Saturday.. They did not let the seniors play. Look like they had some speed and good numbers, had around 100 kids. Don't think Fort will have to much trouble with them.
