Ray Everett i heard has had a impressive off season and will be in Scott's Rotation and be their center fielder. Ohmer is injured right now which hurts them. Ohmer, Everett, Pike, Spata, Stamper, Goss will be their six regular pitchers. Ohmer,Goss, and pike are left handers.

Talked to a parent from Scott and they like the hire of Jeff Trame and said Jeff has a nice staff assembled and really bragged on this young team with their ability to hit the ball and having great speed. Scott's big challange will be finding a rotation they dont have a legit Ace and they need to be better with the gloves this year. Reed Spata is a good young player.

Coach Carr always seems to have a good SR Leader on his team from most of his teams in the past. I saw them play once this year and they have a nice JR class but there is no SR leadership on this team. They start two SR's who are nice players but vocally they dont lead and dont have the ability to takeover a game like Kellen Smith could do. Coach Carr is searching for leadership and trying to get the JR Class to own up and take some leadership of this team. If they dont they will beat some people they shouldnt and lose some they shouldnt. It maybe a up and down year.

I dissagree I think they would compete and beat smaller 9th schools. From what I saw Saturday they are talented enough to beat some smaller schools. I dont want to really say names of schools and cause a stir. But I could see this team competing with Dayton and Villa and Ludlow. I honeslty think they are better. No they don"t have the depth or incoming players every year to compete with the Scotts and Simons of the world but Schoonover and Clemons would start on any team in NKY. I agree with 4point.

I did and i really enjoyed my visit there. Alot of very nice people. I talked to their head coach who told me he assisted under Jeff Trame and Brad Carr for a while. Schoonover was solid Saturday they played a homeschool team from Lexington that had alot of size and was pretty solid. Schoonover went for 15points and had 12 rebounds. Clemons the other good guard led them in scoring with 20. Schoonover is solid i was impressed with his poise and his willingness to get others involved on offense. I felt like he could score when he wanted to but he was always making the extra pass and is very smart. He had a very nice block that was called a foul when he pinned another player against the backboard. He didnt shoot alot this game and didnt really have to Clemons and another kid were nailing shots so Schoonover just guarded, rebounded and scored when needed. I talk to him after the game and he said for everyone to come out and see them play this year. Seems like a great kid. I got a schedule so i will be going back again soon.

My cousin knows one of the coaches he said they play a home school program out of Lexington. Alex Clemons is the name of the other guard. My cousin said they would start for any public school team in NKY. They played Aiken and H prep last year. Dont really know about their league. Im going to go try to watch them play saturday its basketball and as long as im waiting till after thanksgiving for schools around here to start ill check out some small school ball.:ylsuper:

Schoonover will be in action this Saturday at 3pm at Community Christian i would like to go check him out. Im always up to see new talent.

Correct me if im wrong they went to the 10th region finals twice under roberts right? The region owened by Harrison Co and everyone else in there is about a 500 team every year and gets smashed by 9th region schools. If your a school like Scott and Campbell you should make the region finals at least once or twice every 5 years. Geeesh. Heard a rumor that there maybe a realignment taking place. Heard that the KHSAA people that made the realignment in 2006 had no clue Scott, Simon, and dixie are all within 10 to 15 mins of each other and they are all in separate regions and they want to fix it.

Community Christian is apart of the KCAA ( Kentucky Christian Athletic Association) Kcaa.org. Schoonover played for CRONS AAU team and is a 1200 point scorer where he is at. Has battled the Likes of Louisville commit Ryan Taylor, Cincinnati Freshman Guard Jeremiah Davis and Aiken JR Austin Grimes and played them very very well. Saw him at Lakota as well and asked questions about him. I was told he has a running mate at Community and they may be the best 1 2 combo in NKY. With the size of the school they just arent deep and dont get a steady flow of kids every year. Saw him again at the Georgetown team camp along with the rest of his team and ill have to say i was pretty impressed they beat Frankfort high in the game i watched. They are pretty solid.

Jonathan Schoonover Community Christian

Nick is about 6"3 closer to 6"4....If nick can develope a consistant outside game he will be VERY hard to guard because of his length and ability to get to the basket.

They have a couple of Seniors that are pretty tough kids and have some experiance. Coaches are very excited about this junior class this year. They all can score the basketball and that JR class is deep. They have Eric Pouncy who will be probably running the show with Sophmore Josh Cassleman backing him up. Nick Jackson and Haydon Grazianni who quit the team last year is back with the team and he stands 6'6 but needs some meat on his bones. This is a very solid group that will score alot of points.

Saw Nick a couple of times this year and he looks pretty good. I think the dark horse in this group is Riley Barnes he can really fill it up from deep.

Nice Guy not a very good coach i hear. Heard he and staff screwed a bunch of talented players at Scott. Just what ive heard.

I agree saw them play at Georgetown team camp they did have talent there they just dont really play well with each other. They need somone to come in and take the time to build it and get the kids and parents to buy into their system.

I like BB they play hard and will always play solid D. I just hope they can get some help putting the ball in the hole thats been some of there issues but thats the style that works for them. With a nice blended group of sophmores and a couple of seniors I think BB can with the 10th. Scott will still be tough to contend with they have a deep junior class who the coaching staff are very excited about and then CC will have a nice squad. Who does Joe Jennings play for on the AAU circuit?

Talk to someone close to the program before the school year was over and they weren't sure if Calvary was going to have enough kids for a team next year. I talk to a parent last week about it and she confirmed that they will have a team but right now it only consist of 8 guys and a few young kids. When I say older guys I mean freshmen through seniors. Once again just stating what I heard. I hope things bounce back for CC and quick.

I saw Butler Co play in the Georgetown team camp they were all pretty good sized kids but they took a couple beatings in the varsity B pool. They were a pretty big team dont know if they were that talented though. They had a couple nice guards.

Iv"e seen Schoonover play hes great maybe a top 3 player in NKY.

Oldham's B team won the single Elimination Tourney on monday afternoon. Community Christian( Independence) won the pool play going 10-0 and Waynesville OH went 9-1. Most teams that werent staying on campus did not play in the single elimination tourney. Community Christian beat Oldham's JV in pool play.
