In two weeks the 2012 baseball season will be starting. So with that being said, who are the teams to be looking out for this season?

Cov Cath hands down will be the favorite in the 9th. Anyone else on here can say otherwise but they return their entire lineup. Question is will this season end for them like the team that was suppose to win it all 4 years ago?

I dont agree Spartan. I think Holy Cross will be the dominant favorite in the 9th this year. They have had the best young talent the last 2 years with Tiberi, Cohake (sp?), Fuller, and a few more.

Take out "dominant" and I might agree. CCH is deep and experienced - moreso than any team in NKY that I can think of.

Just for fun and giggles! Just 9th region teams

1. Cov Cath

2. Holy Cross

3. Ryle

4. Beechwood

5. Boone

6. Cooper

7. Conner

8. Dixie

9. NCC

10. Lloyld/St. Hen./Highlands (not sure who each have coming back)

The 35th district is just brutal every year in baseball and basketball, has to be the best district in the 9th almost every year.

You can throw the 33rd district into that as well.

I'm liking the feed back so far. I've also had another question i've been meaning to ask; how do you think schools like Scott, SK and St. Henry will do this year?

All three schools have new head coaches and brand new coaching staffs. What do you guys expect from them?

Callery, Pangello, Guidigili

Pitching depth could be an issue with HC

How will Campbell county be this year?

Agreed. Lost Ritter and Broering from last year. Am I missing anyone?

You can't ignore the runs saved by defense and Rob Broering could pick it up the middle.

Also lefty Johnson and the dual sport athlete Jehn

Good call. They have certainly lost a lot of depth. Good news is that you can get away with that in the region tourney.

Not showing to much love for Conner? 2 years ago the JV won the 9th as sophomores. As juniors made it to the championship game. Now as seniors you have them listed 7th? Mendoza do you really follow high school baseball? By the way they also knocked out Cov Cath last year.

Do they have the same team back as last year?
