After watching Somerset on film I'd be a bit surprised to see them put up 27.

I just watched the last two Somerset games and you were getting on the NCC's road to the semi final? All due respect to Danville but they didn't impress me. LCA looked rough! I think Jumper Dad has a good grasp on this game coming up. Somerset seems to have a sound defense. The offense looks ok. IMO. I think if NCC doesn't win by 2TD's or more they didn't play very well. Not saying Somerset can't win this game, just saying after watching last 2 Somerset games NCC looks to be the better team. But that's why you play the game and I'm looking forward to coming down to Somerset to watch some football.

I haven't anything about running up the score! You have been posting on every NCC thread since the beginning of the playoffs and posting that NCC has a cake walk as if NCC got to pick their opponent. As far as power rankings I don't pay any attention to them but since you bring it up. Beechwood has a power ranking of 63 and it was a beat down. BW's only TD against the first team was a drive that started around the NCC 10 yard line. No disrespect to BW but that was the way the game went, hope they can bring a championship home. Point is you have been obsessed with what NCC has been doing.

That's false! Saying a team is playing and going to be tough to beat goes for every team that has come to this point. Stir it up. I will see Somerset on film today. Interested to see what they look like.

First off I'm going off what I've watched up to this point, Newport and Lloyd games. Judging from scores where NCC could have scored 100 is no comparison. I'm sure Walton could have scored more also but compare games like that. Second, don't say if the turnovers are even that it will be close. Walton would need to be pretty high on the plus side for turnovers to make this a close game. Watched their 2 most recent games and I just don't see it but the more we talk the closer we get to Friday night.

When you run shotgun with your QB 2 and half yards away from center and an end over end snap you're going to have exchange problems. Now you tell me, is that opinion or fact?

Should be a fun one to watch but I've got another regional to watch. After watching the first game I think highlands wins. I also didn't like the offensive game plan in the first game. Like to see a little more north/south running game.

Lloyd missed tying the game on a 3rd down pass play with a few seconds left. 5 weeks ago Lloyd had a running clock put on them with 8 mins left in the 3rd q when they played NCC. 0 turnovers for Walton doesn't change the outcome. People on here sound like Don King trying to promote a heavy weight fight. NCC isn't unbeatable....they're just unbeatable this week. Yes they have to play the game and I can't wait to see Walton playing in a regional championship. The fans, coaches, and players should be proud and excited but us folks on here aren't coaches talking to our players, so no need to pump something up and act like if they play flawless turnover free ballgame that they can win.

Pete, what's the outlook for next years HC squad? IMO it looks like they had some young talent but the athletes looked on the small side. Just my take from outside the program.

Yep watched them play. It will be ugly.

Don't know if you've watched both teams but their are no scenarios where this stays close. HC team last year had a bunch of athletes and big upfront and QB could make plays out of nothing. WV is way overmatched, hats off to them for getting to this point, they started playing just a couple years ago. "That's why you play the game" cliché only works when their is an outside chance.

Somerset or Danville. I'm betting Somerset.
