I don't see where there has been any hatred towards Brossart shown on this forum. However, the I live in Campbell County and my tax dollars go to the field, so my son or daughter who attends a private school that has no affiliation with the school system should get to use it argument is ludicrous. I have heard Brossart parents complain about having to pay to get into games at Campbell County under the blanket of the same argument. Brossart is PRIVATE. That means that students who attend their school have no entitlement to use public facilities owned by a separate school district. If you want them to be able to use those facilities, send them to the school system that owns them. Otherwise, pay rent or build your own facilities. As far as the school resource officer comment goes, that was one of the most ignorant post I have ever heard. All large public high schools have them in the area. For instance, Ryle has on and I am sure their college placement and Act scores both either match or beat Brossart's.

Once again.....four contest ago. SK has beaten Ryle three times in their entire history. Bryson Warner has lost to SK twice with one of those losses later avenged the same year in the playoffs. Fact is that SK is 2-9 vs. Ryle and Coach Warner. SK has had one good football team that dominated Ryle. By my account it had a couple of division one starters on it. This years SK team has zero division one athletes.

Keep in mind you are speaking to, for lack of a better term, an uniformed ludicrous ........you get the point. SK, which they wont make it that far anyway, would meet Trinity in the semifinals.

I think coach Straton is more than qualified to call plays, and for that matter, motivate and prepare his team.

Without discipline talent is useless. That is a lesson the community will have to learn and get behind to have sucess.

There is an easy way to fix that problem. You run the ones that missed about 5000 yards apiece, or until they quit, and then you go on without them. This sets the example to everyone that expectations will not waver and no one is above the team. Besides, it doesn't sound like it will lose you games there anyway....

Isn't that part of being a private institution? Brossart has the advantage of being able to get anyone from anywhere that wants to pay the tuition and attend the school.

No. They were beaten by a team who had 16 division I players on their roster.

I don't understand how it is anything but beneficial to those who play it. Therefore, I don't feel like you should even think of taking it away if there are that many kids involved in the program. Upperclassmen numbers in the twenties are enough to make it well worth while. As far as being 2A, that is where your school numbers lie.

That d1 quarterback averaged over 110 yards rushing per game. He was responsible for 2400 yards of offense his senior year when he also had Elliot and Mullins on the same team. How can you claim he wasn't used?

Are you talking about Hemple, because he averaged 18 attempts a game his senior year. He had 1200 yards in the air, and their offense had 4000 on the ground. Also, their freshman team is running the ball well. Against boone the other night they threw the ball three times in scoring 54 points. Of course, two of the throws were for touchdowns.
