Cooper 27 Campbell County 16

Congrats to cooper on the win. Wish the camels could've pulled this on out.

Congrats to Cooper. Their kids are working hard and playing good football.

Left this game at halftime. The one-handed int by the kid from Cooper in the 1st quarter, simply PHENOMENAL. Coopers kicking is at best WEAK. Camels had plenty of chances in this one in the 1st half, but everytime they got to about the 25, Cooper seemed to step it up, until late in the 2nd quarter.

The Camels were making a nice push toward the end of the 4th quarter, but fumbled close to Cooper's 20-yard line with a little over three minutes to go. Would have liked seeing a little more urgency with them being down by 11 and getting the ball back with nine minutes to go.

AJ Collins made the one handed interception. Great kid!! Cooper killed themselves twice jumping off sides on 4th and less than 5 yards to go. One was on about the 7 yard line which gave CC 1st and goal at the 2 or 3. Can't jump there, make them earn it on 4th down. A couple of nice throws by Morris to Morgan in the first half for TD's. Cooper's D-Line, led by Taylor Centers was in the backfield quickly tonight. The CC QB had some nice runs after the 1st quarter. Cooper missed some tackles at the 2nd level but overall held CC in check. Great job Jag's, 4-0.

Congratulations to Coach Borchers and to the Cooper Jags!

Also, Cooper's kicking needs a lot of work as that could cost them in a close game. Campbell County's kicker was awesome!!

Anyone think that Cooper can win out and go 10-0? Seems to be a real possibility if they can get past Conner. Congrats to the Jags. Campbell will be just fine. Coach Lickert is a great coach and will have his kids ready for their next game.

I don't think they can go 10 and 0 but it would be nice. Campbell is tough, kudos to that team. Their QB is awesome when he runs, tough to bring down. Campbell and Boone should be a great game, both teams similar.

I agree.

One game of a long season Jags and with you guys having so many going both ways and being outsized by nearly every team you play this win speaks volumes. Just take one game at a time and stay healthy Jags. The Bulldogs are next in your path! 4-0!!

It helped Cooper to have that 90 minute game delay last night, as it allowed them to regroup and to catch their breath! Those to whom I have spoken to told me that they felt without the long game delay, Cooper losses this game, as they were looking gassed at half time!

This Cooper team reminds me of the Conner teams of years ago (03-04), who would go 10-0 in the regular season but then lose in the first/second round of the playoff!

Of course we shall see but from all indications this is a one year ride so enjoy, enjoy!

Congrats to the Jags. One of the quickest teams that I've seen play at Bob Miller Stadium in quite some time. Lightening struck long before the game delay.......#8 Morgan was an electric player! His catch in the left corner of the end zone was amazing. Reminded me of those acrobatic catches by Camel Alum Brandon Griffin from just a few years back. A slow Q1, a dropped Pick 6 on the goal line by the Camels, fumble/turnover in Q4.....the Camels had their chances but didn't capitalize. Coach Lickert is doing a great job and is getting his guys ready for 6A. You gotta give credit though to Coach Borchers and Cooper!
