Keep rolling JAG'S!!!!!! Show conner what it's all about!!! CONGRATS

This final score is way closer than I thought it would be. Congrats to Cooper on the win. Things may be looking up in A-Town. Coach Lickert has them going in the right direction for sure especially with that Highlands defense he's running. :thumb:

Congrats to the Jags. One of the quickest teams that I've seen play at Bob Miller Stadium in quite some time. Lightening struck long before the game delay.......#8 Morgan was an electric player! His catch in the left corner of the end zone was amazing. Reminded me of those acrobatic catches by Camel Alum Brandon Griffin from just a few years back. A slow Q1, a dropped Pick 6 on the goal line by the Camels, fumble/turnover in Q4.....the Camels had their chances but didn't capitalize. Coach Lickert is doing a great job and is getting his guys ready for 6A. You gotta give credit though to Coach Borchers and Cooper!

I agree with you on the bold. Cooper has great team speed at every position, including line. Size and depth are their challenges.

Congratulations Jags.

It helped Cooper to have that 90 minute game delay last night, as it allowed them to regroup and to catch their breath! Those to whom I have spoken to told me that they felt without the long game delay, Cooper losses this game, as they were looking gassed at half time!

This Cooper team reminds me of the Conner teams of years ago (03-04), who would go 10-0 in the regular season but then lose in the first/second round of the playoff!

Of course we shall see but from all indications this is a one year ride so enjoy, enjoy!

Link to Richard Skinner NKY.com article of the game!

Campbell is a good team and should handle Ryle with no problem, the Boone game should be a great one to watch, both teams play identical and are big up front.

With that said and by reading your comment here along with the others you posted last night during the game and your true jealousy toward cooper and bias toward Campbell all I can add is stay classy.

Cooper is only 5 years old, they are in an area where 4 big hush schools are within a few miles of each other, their first 2 years in existence any junior or senior could opt out from going to cooper and stay at their current schools (Boone, Conner, Ryle ) and not being a private or independent school could not do any recruiting as some others in NKY can do, so in reality this is the first year that the school actually has players that have been in the program for 4 straight years. When all is said and done, wether they go one and done in the playoffs or not, there is nothing you can do or say that can ever dampen the spirits and the huge steps this program has taken in a very short time.

They have come a long way, from never even winning a single district game until last year where they went undefeated in district, to never being able to beat Ryle, Boone, HC until this year. They have never beaten Holmes either and we will see how that turns out this Friday.

Basically all I'm saying is, you can hate all you want, you can make lame comments like you did last night about how much better every school is in the area because their history has more state titles than cooper has in years of existence. Either way, keep on hating and stay classy, for us Cooper fans, we will enjoy the present because we know how hard it was to get to this point in such a short time. Next year we may lose every game or may win every game but none of that matters, we'd rather live in the present unlike you. Your team may have a better history and all but if you want to go back in history to measure the better team, then I have but 1 question for you...who won last year in the Campbell cooper game?

As I told other camel fans last night, good luck the rest of the year, I wish you all the best.
