  1. The only reason people are writing on here in support of Rockcastle Co. is because for the entire time Larkey was there they didn't lose many games. Now people beat Rockcastle Co. SO YES...keep Parkey so teams can keep beating Rockcastle.
  2. ADAM COLEMAN...the guy won games at BEREA...NUFF SAID.
  3. The last team to win the 44th other than Madison Central was Madison Southern in 1995.
  4. Southern will beat Model by 20 this year. Those games have been close the last few years, but not this year.
  5. I think the biggest thing is that can Southern beat Central post Damien Harris. Harris himself dismantled Central and lead the Eagles to two straight wins over the Indians. This year looks to be the best game of the series. Central holds an all-time record of 3-2 in this on again off again series. Both teams come into this game off wins versus GRC and Anderson Co. respectively, and both are looking to head to the playoffs with a bit of steam. I watched Madison Central against Bryan Station and the Indians look soft up front but have very good skill kids. On the flip side Madison Southern isn't huge up front, but are very strong and very quick on the interior line. I think this game will come down to a few big plays in which Central has the edge with speed even though Southern does have some speed of their own. Coach Scenters team has been a little disappointing this year and seems not to be very strong but I think they win because of the offensive fire power. Madison Southern does have speed but their defense has been stellar the last few weeks. This should be a fun game and really a coin flip game. I do think Madison Central wins but DO NOT be shocked if the well coached Eagles come out on top.
  6. Thoughts...and can we get a poll up... I'm going to say a BARN BURNER Madison Central 28 Madison Southern 26
  7. Parkey at Rockcastle Co. I think his time is done. He's had more than enough time, and he touted that THIS was going to be the year!!! He and that staff been saying that since he got there.
  8. I agree...People forget Adam was at Rockcastle for years with Larkey and then left to take over the Berea Pirates. He averaged 4 or 5 wins at Berea for goodness sake. If he could win there he can win ANYWHERE...plus like I said he played and coached there before.
  9. They lost Tom Larkey...They need Adam Coleman as their coach.
  10. I wasn't at the game last night, but it looks like Southern played well, but lost to a down Madison Central team. I don't care if this district seeds or not, but nothing will change unless the KHSAA makes the change themselves.
  11. Let's be honest here MADISON CENTRAL is the only team in the 44th district that plays basketball. Madison Southern is NOT a good program. They have had a few decent teams, and a couple 20 win seasons, but this team has NEVER won an 11th Region game in their almost 30 year history. Are they better than Model and Berea?...sure they are, but it really doesn't matter. Madison Southern has played some good teams this year, but they have a losing record and every year that this has happened they act like its a tragedy. Win a Region game...BEAT CENTRAL occasionally and then you will have a TRUE case for seeding.
  12. I hear that Kentucky is interested in this kid??? :idunno:
  13. Hopefully my Indians can get back on the winning track but I doubt it. Scott Co. should roll in this one. 36-12.
  14. I think this will be a good game. I was at this game last year and Dunbar had opportunities to win but came up short...should still be a close game. Madison Southern 36 Dunbar 28
  15. Central isn't great and I thought this game would be closer, but Damien Harris is the best high-school football player to EVER come through this state.
  16. Madison Southern D is supposedly weak. If Central gets some stops it could get interesting. Plus, I am biased but I think Coach Scenters is a better coach.
