The coaches are not involved in the Boone County Pee wee league. That league is not divided based on geography or what schools kids will attend. There is a parent group that does things for the boys: decorating lockers, snacks on game days, meals after away games, Sr. gifts. Everything has to go through Thompson. I've been told he will not allow an official Boosters group. There is a sprinkler system and caregiver for the field. Maybe the drought just took it's toll. All soccer and football teams use the field. Turf is needed but I don't know if there's any planning in the works. Thompson's not the most creative thinker in the world.

I've heard from several sources Thompson is gone this year but time will tell. If its true that they are sending out a questionaire, to whom? That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard of. If your program is in that bad of shape, just get rid of the guy and get a new coach.

Why? Aren't you looking forward to SK beating Ryle in a few weeks? Maybe you're not so confident anymore...

The reason the corners had trouble covering the pass is because usually the QB had all day to throw the ball. You can't cover a guy for that long, eventually they get open. I think the linebackers and safetys also had tackling problems. Defense looked good the first two games then went downhill for some reason.

I think the Boone faithful think the change came too late in the season.

Different offense for Boone, Schwartz played quarterback and Thompson ran the ball.

He's not new to anyone who knows Boone's players.

I don't think Thompson knows what the spread is. He only knows 2 things on offense: run the ball or throw it long. That's it.

Would like to see Cooper get a district win, so I will go with Cooper.

No one should underestimate CC. They could beat SK and I am praying they do, because I am so sick of UK#1's bragging and boasting.

Agree with all the above except that this team is united, more so than last year. Our seniors are dedicated and hard working. Maybe there are one or two bad apples but overall these guys really worked hard during the offseason to improve this year, and started off strong. The season unraveling is mostly due to poor coaching and not utilizing the players in the proper positions. It's frustrating for everyone close to the program. I would love to see what another coach could have done with this team.

Boone was only down by 1 TD with 4 minutes to play. SK scored quickly off a bad snap/ punt and an interception. Boone lost their center, kicker, and 2 recievers during the game to injuries.

I'd try to get the ball to Brown once every set of downs. Don't understand why they don't use him more.

Final

If I were his parents, even if it were a mild concussion, I'd want him sitting out a week. It's still a concussion. If he takes some hard hits tonight, it could be very dangerous.
