I totally agree. Comparing Towles to Gino is a much better comparison then to Jared.

Your trying to tell me Jared could throw a ball 60+ yards while rolling out to the right and throw across his body? WRONG! I have although saw Towles in the Withrow game throw one about 65 yards as time expired in the 1st half. And to say Jared never ran cause he always found an open receiver is ludicrous.

Towles doesnt want to weigh 240. Why would he? That makes no sense what so ever. Talk about avoiding pressure? Towles will have more rushing yards and rushing touchdowns this year then Lorenzen had. And I also think Jared was blessed with some unbelievable receivers. If you gave Towles Derek Smith to throw to it wouldnt even be fair. (Although I am no where saying his receivers this year are not doing a wonderful job which they are.)

I watched the game too, and it seems like Towles is more fundamentally sound then Lorenzen who got by on sheer talent. Throwing off his back foot etc. Id say Towles game is more similar to a Steve Young type while Lorenzen would be a Favre type. (Im not comparing the players, just comparing their quarterbacking styles)

You are wrong in every way possible. Towles is taller, faster, and as accurate as Lorenzen was. Jared will even tell you himself. And its Towles...not Towels.

I have seen Patrick to the exact same thing....but from the 55 yard line. They did it in practice.

The score will be similar to last weeks game vs. Eastern. Running clock in the second half, I wouldnt be surprised to see Spritzky hold Pike off the Defensive side of the football in this game. It wont matter though in my opinion.

I know Towles only plays Quarterback but is the most versatile at his position. Threw for 5 td's against Beechwood then ran for 4 td's the next week against Withrow.

Wow...I thought I read Pike could very well be the best QB in the class of 2012? And why is Towles not on this list?

Ohio football is much deeper then Kentucky Football. Although if you give me the top 5 teams from KY Ill put them up against the top 5 from the Greater Cincinnati area. The gap is slowly decreasing and I think UK's successes have a direct correlation.
