Any chance Nate McPeek gets a shot at the job? I know he was an assistant at Bryan Station last year and he and his wife work for Fayette County Schools.

I remember a game at the old fairgrounds when Prestonsburg lost on an inadvertent whistle and they didn't accept the runner-up trophy.

They should have talent in their junior class. They are dealing with some injuries at the moment and one of their experienced seniors is out a few games. To add to that, they are learning a new system that they got a late start on. I think when the games start to count, they will be Ok.

Anyone at the game have any details? I know Alexander from Fleming County broke his hand during the game. Will be a big blow to Fleming County and Coach Taylor.

In our sue heavy society, this stuff is going to get worse. I was listening to a call in show about a lawsuit that a family tried to bring against an official for a hit out of bounds that was not called. The hit caused an injury to the player and apparently his family was trying to sue the game officials for not protecting their child. They said the play wasn't flagged and several others weren't. I will see if I can find it online.

I think Belfry is by far the best 3A team I have EVER seen. I remember the Boyle teams of their dynasty years but I swear this team is better.

I think Fleming's style of play makes people assume they are not physical. The fact that they rush for over 150 yards a game (they rushed for over 300 against Lawtence) while holding a run heavy schedule to under 100 on the average, tells me they must play a little physical.

Honestly not sure. Fleming County High School has been around since at least the 60's. I don't think any of the schools played football before that. They had a 50 year reunion of the first team a few years back.

I don't know if they have ever played, but Fleming County is not a result of recent consolidation.

Fleming County will be a big under dog for sure. But 11 billion? Lol. I think Fleming hurt your feelings when they spanked Bath County by 50. You have been bitter ever since then.

This was an exciting game to watch. Some offensive fireworks early and late with Fleming County scoring with 14 seconds left for the win.

They have been a little sporadic on offense. But, they finished out the regular season averaging 35 per game and giving up 12. Not bad.

Friday was the perfect storm for East! Everything went their way. They played hard and deserved to win but the 6 turnovers were very uncharacteristic of Fleming. I really think Fleming will get back on track this week and get their first home playoff win in a while.

Like I said, you will get no argument from me about it! I would have thought Satan's butt would be frosty before Fleming would have lost that game!

Tough to see Fleming County drop out of the top 25 (especially since they beat some teams in it) but after their loss to East Carter you can't argue with it. They better get their stuff together quick or Lawrence will end their season this Friday.

Depends on which Fleming County team shows up. If it is the team that has played most of the season, I think Fleming County wins it. If it is the team that played East Carter last Friday, Lawrence will run away with it.

I'm honestly not sure about the points breakdown for the tie breaker in your district. I was just explaining how the KHSAA did the determination of district champions and runner ups.

There are no such thing as co champs in the eyes of the KHSAA. Last season in our district, Fleming, Russell and West Carter all tied. With points breakdown, it went West-Russell-Fleming. West got the 1st place trophy, Russell got the runner up and Fleming got nothing because they were the 3 seed and on the road.

Congratulations to East Carter they deserved to win. Fleming had 6 turnovers and East Carter recovered an onside kick that could count as 7. Their kids got after it and deserved the win tonight.

Fleming County polishes off their Jv season with a 40-0 win over Lexington Christian. Fleming County outscored their opponents 250-18 in JV games this year.

Who closes out the season with the win? Does Fleming County build momentum for the playoffs or does East Carter finish on a high note?

Can you explain the ranking process? I thought it was based on a select group of members opinions.
