  1. He has to be one of the best players in region when it comes to overall performance, scoring. rebounding, playing defense and team player! don't know if anyone else in the region does it better. Gives 100% effort all the time!
  2. How tall are the Covcath's two guards Frederick and Ruthsats?
  3. I agree. Talent wise, they match up with anyone in the regoin. They have been playing without 2 year starter Kyle Fuller and should just get better when he gets back this week. Add to that ,Cambell has had only 10 days of practice. Thompson, Burger and Mclendon's play has been impressive so far. Once they get everyone back, they will be one of the top teams to beat!
  4. They both went to St. Agustine for grade school ( a feeder school) and both went on to Holy Cross after the 8th grade. Quinton is a Soph who plays now and is 6"4 and his older brother. who is a senior played basketball all the way till this year. only played football.
  5. Anyone have shooting %'s for each team?
  6. Cambell is not practicing with the team. i know this for a fact.
  7. Give me a break! Like no other High School has had tranfers come in and play. The Mclendon family has been at Holy Cross since the late 1970's. Ed Mclendon graduated in 1979 or 1980 if memory serve me correctly. I know for a fact that other coach's try to get kids to come to their school's when they are in the 7,8 and 9th grades.
  8. The Massie's live in Taylor Mill. I have known many kids from Taylor Mill area go to Cov Cath in the past.
  9. What teams have size besides Dixie with Stansberry and Pike ( if he plays)?I can think of Rice from Holmes as being the only center in the ninth regoin coming back with experince. There will be no Geisler, Thelen or Stauffer's in this year's class. I belive most teams will play small ball.
  10. How did the 17/u Shining Stars Ky and Ohio finsish this tournament?
  11. Who is on this team?
  12. How can Holmes be a division II school? How many kids do they have in the high school? what is the requirement for a DII school?
  13. I totally agree with you on Tate Mullins, but Mcgovney is in the Tenth Region.
  14. Tate is playing with Kentucky Shinining Stars coached by Mike Price from Oak Hills, along with Jordan Hassel, Cody Chambers, Jake Burger,Boopper Stenzel, Matt Hargett and some others. I don't know all the names.
  15. 1. Dixie 2. Newcath 3. Holmes 4. Holy Cross 5. Boone
  16. Who are the top players in the 9th for next year?
  17. They have 4 reruning starters in Avery 6' , Burger 6'2, Mclendon 6', Fuller 6'2 and either Thompson 5'10 or Fortner 6'2. They all can handle the ball and with their new pressing full court style it suits this team.
  18. I think Dixe will be at the top. Then who?
  19. I know Seth Blevins does the 17/u team.
  20. WOW! 5 kids from Holmes make this team. I thought Cruse from Beechwood was deserving. If I remember he had something like 17 point and 15 rebounds.
  21. With them returning 4 of 5 starters I would expect them to be very successful next year. From what I hear, they have a very talented group of underclassmen. They should be able to build off of this years success and carry it forward.
  22. How is Holmes considered a division ll school? How many students due they have. It seems like they would be in division I.
