The Shining Stars 17U won their first game. They trailed the whole game untill .3 seconds to go, won 53-54 against the FCI Warriors out of Atlanta I think.

Regarding the Nationals in Orlando, the Crons 16 won their first 2 games. They play tonight for bracket championship.

Go Crons!

Good luck to all the local teams down there. Espnu has a game on right now.

I was looking at the 16U pools but did not see Crons listed. Are they running under a different name?

D2.

Incorrectly entered as western Pennsylvania team not Kentucky. They came in second in their bracket tonight

They are playing extremely well against some very BIG and talented teams.

Update from Orlando regarding the Crons 16.......

STILL PLAYING -- The Crons have 3 wins and 2 loses. Lots of talent on this team and they are playing well!

The BA Hoyas 17s team dropped both games on Wednesday. The Hoyas haven’t played since the HoopFest and are missing a couple of players for football.

I've seen this CRONS team play several times this year. At first glance, they are very unimpressive to look at. I'm sure the other teams get excited to play them. But once they step on the court, they are aggressive, talented, hard playing and can shoot. They are a very fun team to watch and fear no one! They are loaded with some great athletes! Good luck to the Crons. Good to See coach Blevins helping out coach Hester. Both coaches have done a great job with their teams this year! Keep winning boys!

The Crons are still playing!!! Today we beat NC Blazers 59-48. Play again at 5:20. Crons played great!!

Team plays with good chemistry and they play hard on both ends of the court. Think that is a tribute to their coach. Don't know when Hester is done playing at NKU but somebody is going to get a very good coach in their program soon. He is going to be a very successful high school coach whenever he gets that opportunity.
