Final from the Msgr. Finn Activity Center.

Jake Burger led the Indians with 18

Alex Webster led the Jaguars with 18

Worst officiating of the year. Their is no way it can get any worse from here on out . Holy Cross played a pressure game that Cooper struggled early but the calls that the Refs were making unbelievable and I mean both ways and then when they did make a call they were not very sure of themselves .I think they had more huddles than the teams did tonight . HC is very good team and they can only get stronger . Good Luck to both Cooper and HC for the rest of the year.

Sounds like it is going to be a long year in the 9th. Pouncy/Freppon/Pohl sp? had a less than par game at St Henry tonight. Those guys are normally pretty good but they missed a ton tonight.

To me the officiating is taking a beating, when in reality the kids are playing much rougher, and officials I have talked to said they are supposed to be calling it tighter so as to not let things get out of hand. Poor and rough basketball play often leads to whistles and then the officials take the bashing instead of poor basketball play. Having said that I was not there, but wanted to go to this game. I believe these two clubs could both suprise many in the 9th region.

The problem is they don't call the beating your speaking of .They call the tick tack fouls and making calls then questioning other refs to see they made the right call or not . Last night took forever just because of that fact . If your going to make a call ,call it and have confidence in your call .Don't question yourself .

Went to the game hoping to see Maniacci and Campbell battle it out as two of the better bigs in the 9th but foul trouble hindered both players. With that being said Jake Burger was the best player on the floor. Have seen him twice this year and have been very impressed. Really improved his game over the summer

Who is the Chames kid for Holy Cross? I do not remember him. Looks to have good size. Has he played at HC before?

Football player. Scored a TD in the state championship game if I remember correctly (or had a big INT). I don't remember him either from last year. Not very tall. Thick. Has a younger brother on the JV team.

I wonder if they have to wear name tags when they show up for practice. LOL

Technically I guess its all legal...Open Enrollment is a beautiful thing.

Pouncy had 15 in his first game of the season.

Will he be the point guard and Avery comes off the bench? Wondering how that is playing out.

This is the younger brother who played on the freshman team last year. The senior football player is not playing basketball this year.

They both went to St. Agustine for grade school ( a feeder school) and both went on to Holy Cross after the 8th grade. Quinton is a Soph who plays now and is 6"4 and his older brother. who is a senior played basketball all the way till this year. only played football.
