Only change I see is #53 Kyle Martin is out with knee issues. Dalton Meade #55,and Gunner Edmonds # 58 are rotating in and out in place of him. Again this change has occurred since the Belfry game at mid season. This is not due to an injury, but arthritic symptoms with the knee when colder temps are present.

As anyone can see Pikeville's line would not be considered huge, however very quick, and very stout. Arguably, the best in years. Defensive line, very potent against the run. Beechwood had better be ready.

Congrats to the Pikeville Panthers! Imo, the Panthers have a great chance against Beechwood next Thursday. Really hate it for Kash Daniel with the injury. Paintsville has had a great season. Coach Chirrico and staff has got this program on the upswing. Still think the Panthers would have won this game even with Kash playing. The Panthers just outplayed the Tigers in this one.....plain to see. On to BG !!

Sure hope he's ok . This young man is a tremendous player and has a great career in front of him. Just hope players from both Paintsville and Pikeville are at 100%, and go head to head.

Btw. would like to congratulate Head Coach Chris McNamee on his career wins of 150 as of tonight. 120 of which came as HC at Pikeville High School during the last twelve years. I suppose this pales in comparison to records set by others, however he's young and My math tells me that's averaging ten wins per season......not too shabby.

Imo, Harlan has been a "better than advertised" football team this year. Good win for Hazard against a tough Green Dragon squad.+

However, Pikeville has too many weapons this season Even more weapons than last year at this time. Williamsburg has a good Freshman QB that looks very promising for the future. They're playing good now, and seem to be peaking at the right time. The Jackets played S. Floyd a good game Friday evening, better than some thought. Can they hang in there with Pikeville? We'll see. As a Pikeville Panther fan, I want to agree with UKfballfan's post. I understand the points he makes. But just don't know. However, imo there's not much separation between the top three, or four in 1-A, and Pikeville has what it takes to be there by having a totally different mindset this season, and actually playing better than what they were at this time last season. The change at QB was huge at mid season. It's REALLY made a big difference. I believe anything can happen on any given football game night/day. I Just hope it's Pikeville in BG this season. They have as good chance as any. Jmo.

Congrats to Daric Pugh as he eclipsed 3,000 total yards mark on the season in this game. Last nights tds all came by rushing except for one which came on a 30yd. td pass.
