If you have good sports you will have good academic success in the school. All this academic bull crap only ends up hurting all sports and helping about 5% of the students. It's those 5% that play nothing too. Good athletics = good academic Kids are lazy and sorry this day and time because the parents let them tell them what they want to do instead of the parents telling the kids. Parents would just soon their kids not play sports in a lot of places so they don't have to take them to practice or games. Parents are sorrier than kids in most cases.

It's hard for some families to get their vacations in before dead period, some have to go after the 4th when it's cheaper and some just can't get off. Football does start too early and they need a longer dead period for kids and families to be kids and families.

We lost all most every starter. We do have a solid group coming up but lost a lot of experience and playmakers. It will be hard to be better than last year. We don't return 21 positions.

100% agree. I asked a parent one time why their kid wasnt practicing and they said he had a contusion on his arm, I knew what it was (a bruise) and I just went along and said what is that? She said blood clot and the DR wanted him to stay out a week until it healed.

Im not bashing DRs, I just wonder why they sit kids out for 2 weeks over a bruise or sore arm.

I have some family who are very injury conscience and take their kid from anything to a pain in the arm to a bruise on the leg. Every time I ask whats wrong and they tell me a sprain or bruise and out 1-2 weeks from contact. I even hear about kids missing just as much for less. Do doctors take it to the extreme for fear of malpractice suite or just afraid for the kid or what? I practiced and played with bruises and pulled muscles and stuff.

My guess is the tracking device was there to see if he would lead them to the people buying the pot and then investigate from there in hopes of finding more clues.

There are so many ways to cheat at transferring and recruiting. Some places and coaches just have it down pat better than others.

So you dont keep kids from playing AAU and being pressured to go play AAU by the HS coach. If your not going to stop it in basketball when it isnt even basketball season then you might as well forget it.

Great but solve this problem. Summer is when AAU is full go and team basketball camps as well as individual football camps. These colleges that host these use this as a recruiting tool as well as a money maker for their staffs. How do you keep this from happening.
