It's listed for Saturday. Given the travel, it would make sense to play on Saturday to allow the team and fans the ability to make the trip.

They didn't downgrade any with Knox.

That is why I find this match a bit odd.

 

There have been years where Green would be very competitive with KNox but not sure this year is one of them.

I had heard somewhere previously that Knox Central was going to play Knoxville Catholic, TN in the Pigskin Clasic (It would have been nasty)

 

Wonder if that game fell through? Looks like they are playing Danville now instead.

When was the last time Green beat Danville or LCA?

Green beat Danville 61-22 in the 09 playoffs but played very competitively with the Ads the following 3 years. Since then, it has been ugly.

 

Green beat LCA in '11 & '12. LCA defeated green in a weather shortened but competitive game in'15 and LCA handled green last year.

Just seeing again if anyone can confirm that the 9/16 game against Green Co is really scheduled for Saturday and not a type.
