When you are returning 21-22 positions and coming off a 10-2 record, one can only think that this team will be as good , if not better than 2016.

We lost all most every starter. We do have a solid group coming up but lost a lot of experience and playmakers.

 

It will be hard to be better than last year.

Last year was when they returned so much. This year's team should be very inexperienced. It will be interesting to see how they progress.

This group of boys have the potential to be a solid football team. Will be interesting to see how they gel and progress during the regular season. However we don't lose every starter. We retain a good core of our team yea we lose really good skilled position players but our offensive line keeps 2-3 normal starters from last year we still keep our best running back which is a fb. We have emerged what should be a great running back for the next two years and now our qb should be Brent who was starting running back sophomore year backup last year and now dual threat qb this year who in my opinion has a stronger arm and can do basically just as much as chayse did last year. I don't think we are at the same level starting the year out this year as last year but with good progression thru the regular season I believe we can be every bit as good as last year. Biggest concerns for me is how our defense will look. We were a force last year and no one could run the ball on us. All in all I believe this team is every bit as hungry as last year's and this team actually has I think 3 more seniors than last year's team did. I still think district comes down between Wayne and Rock and I look for that to be a competitive game and hopefully we can make it two in a roll for the Rock. Good look to everyone. And oh is it football Friday yet?
