I respect your opinion and if you say that you talked to some head coaches and they said that then I believe you. However I don't agree with what they said. If you do then that is up to you. I know that Coach Starnes has always tried to play up in competition. Granted Webster was on the schedule and that doesn't look good. But you have to be from this area to realize that Crittenden is the only team that has been on Websters schedule since they started a football team in the 70's. They didn't want to break that streak because it would look bad to drop them especially with them being 30 min. away. Now this year Webster asked to drop us off because they said CC was to much for them, so Coach Starnes jumped at the chance to find someone else. That is why we got Pad Tilghman and Madisonville North. Reidland is on now due to them being in our district so in the end we got rid of the two fultons and had to pick up Reidland. Not a bad trade in my opinion. Our non district schedule didn't have Trinity, X, and Highlands, but it wasn't loaded with easy games either. So in the end you can have your opinion and I can have mine, I just hope you realize that it would be nice if those head coaches that said we called them after a losing season would man up and say that to Coach Starnes.

I say T wins this by atleast 21! I really hope this is a good game that is played respectfully, but now after seeing all the comments by TN fans talking about KY football, I hope that T makes a huge point. I think its ok for us KY people to ask questions and make funny remarks about other programs, but no other state gets to poke fingers at a KY school. Its kinda like the thing about a big brother can pick on a little brother to make him more tough, but nobody else gets to pick on little brother!!

I have never ever known for CC to schedule down! I believe your reply is completly unfounded. I would be very interested to see what you claim as CC scheduling down! The last few years the only real down teams that are down year after year are the fultons. And CC had to play them due to them in their district. So I don't think your honest if you really think that, because we have always tried to play better competition. So expand away my friend...... By the way what is your team??

So if you don't know for sure if calls were not returned after 2000, why did you post that?? If you are not certain (Which you are in no position to be) then why put something like that? Pluse the 2000 class was 5-6..... Did other schools not put CC on their schedule the next few years because they knew we would be waaaaay better??? Answer that!!

Well I will give it to you that you have done your research and that you do have a couple valid points. However if you knew anything about how football programs schedule teams you would know that when a contract is up then it is up. Some years teams are up some years teams are down. Thats just the way some football is. Union Co. didn't want to get back on the contract when they got off. It just happens that they graduated a big senior class last year, and their Head coach is good friends with Coach Starnes so they made the game happen again. Marshall Co. wanted the game with CC, and Trigg was on our schedule for years because they were in our district. So your "*poof*" doesn't hold much water if you look at how somethings just happened due to scheduling. As for the Mayfield game. All of our fans and their fans want that to happen, but they are still in 1A and we moved up so our open dates didn't line up with theirs. I appriciate you saying that it is a good rivalry that we have with them, but you can cut out the smartness in your comment that we are waiting for them to graduate a huge senior class.

Hopkins Central has been on their schedule for 3 years.... So how is this scheduling them if they are down? Exactly what do you mean that CC schedules teams when they are down? And please explain in detail what you mean... It will be interesting to hear what you have to say about this.

4A Central Hopkins Storm travels to Crittenden Co. Rockets for the annual KY National Guard Warror Bowl. Who starts their season off with a win and how will they do it?

I remember that. It's always good to hear about a great team from another state, and then hear that their only loss that season was to a KY school!!!

Our prayers are with the family and players of TX, as well as all of our great student athletes of KY. It does make you think to hug your kids tighter and thank the good Lord for the time we get to spend with them!

I believe Mayfield, Lou. Holy Cross, and Crittenden will stay undefeated. I know others will remain undefeated also, but I don't know much about the other teams. It is always nice to see teams staying undefeated and winning close games! Good luck to all the teams!!!

I hope you are correct in saying that Beechwood will play Crittenden Co. in the semi's. I wish that game would have happened last year also!! Either way it will be great to see how the season's go for Crittenden Co., Mayfield, and Beechwood. Good luck to all the teams.
