Watched the finale tonight and I must say that it was one of the best hours of TV I have ever watched. Great way to go out. Show will be missed.

Dixie struggled mightily when Hatton went to the bench at around the 6 min mark of the second quarter. Dixie had multiple consecutive turnovers that CCH turned into a lead. This was probably their best run of the night and it came with Hatton on the bench. Dixie is not the same team without Hatton. The last 5 minutes was also critical as he was calling for the ball to take control of the game. This kid wants the ball in crunch time and I love that about him. Possesses tremendous intangibles.

Very emotional moment at Dixie tonight. So proud of the standing ovation in support. God Speed.

Fun game to watch. Both teams had great spurts. Big second half for Hatton who took over the game. Nice win for the Red Colonels.

I love to watch how threads "evolve" on BGP. Funny. They don't stay on topic very long and more times than not take strange directions.

Conner should be able to use their size to a big advantage in this one. Look for Robinson and Hodges to have big nights. Feed the block. I am sure HC will come out in zone. Conner will need to be patient and get the high/low working. Great gym.

Cats play much better team ball when Jones is reeled in. Nice win. Looking forward to playing on neutral sites in March. Elite 8 or Final 4.

Good game tonight in Walton. Walton wins the 1st and 4th quarters and Conner takes the 2nd and 3rd. Conner shoots 60 percent from the field and another nice game for the frosh McNeil. Very nice player.

I find it both troubling and sad that you would feel the need to make a post like this about a kid who had an outstanding high school career and who is fortunate enough to be in the rare company of players who will continue on beyond high school. Very tasteless and a complete lack of class IMO.

Very tough question to answer accurately due to a high level of subjectivity. Most of their opponents are traditional powers year end and year out with down years coming once every few years. Without knowing each team's personnel and who their key returners will be, I cannot answer the question. However, if the traditional powers on their schedule have lots coming back, then I would rank their schedule strength in the top 20% or even higher. I think it would be cool to have some sort of RPI like ranking for HS teams. I know schedule strength is a big part of that equation.

Would actually be disappointed if their schedule was anything less than monstrous. I think it's right where it should be.

Wow, not surprised by the CCH score, but the Cru over the Birds is somewhat surprising to me. Congrats to both winners tonight and good luck on Saturday.

Big double-double for the player of the game, Curtis Crabtree. Great game for this senior who has been in the shadows. Way to play big guy.

GT, so it's fair to say that you feel this kid has more upside than Singler? Should be a great one.

So was Larry Bird. If you watch tape of Murphy and don't see lots of Singler in him, then I'm not sure what you are seeing.
