  1. Actually only 301 words this time. Proud of you. Must be cutting back in 2016.
  2. Welcome to Powerball - Prizes
  3. Stuff like this makes me very angry and disgusted...period.
  4. He knew and so did the rest of us in the stands. "The Bengals" could have easily been another Shakespearean tragedy.
  5. 3 drawings - $20 each - $60 Total Winnings - $4 So why did I do this again?
  6. Mr. Takagi won't be joining us for the rest of his life.
  7. Somebody's cheesehead was way too heavy and created brain damage.
  8. I don't know if I should buy a ticket or not. I don't think the pot is big enough.:greedy:
  9. Great article about KY QB Hamilton Scott from Covington Holy Cross. Hamilton Scott keyed Holy Cross? turnaround
  10. If Harrison had run that conversion back for two points...oh, Lord.
  11. I heard an interview this morning on Catholic radio with Dr. Omalu. His faith was a very motivating factor in his research. He made some very compelling arguments for protecting children from the effects of football before they are 18. He claims that no helmet can protect the brain from bouncing back and forth in the head. I have not seen the movie, but I plan to soon.
  12. I watched bits and pieces of the replay last night on the NFL Network while switching back and forth with the college championship game. I know there has been some conversation on how stupid the call was for the Bengals 2 point conversion attempt at 16-15 and how the play never had a chance. Did anyone else notice that the pitch to Hill was backwards? If he fumbles, under the new conversion rules this year, the Steelers could have recovered and taken it back for two points. They could have won right there...really, really dangerous call by the Bengals on that 2 point conversion.
  13. Sorry to keep it simplistic, but if I wake up and look out the window and see that Planet Earth is still there and then I check the newspaper and I don't see my name in the obituaries, I'm betting it's going to be a good day.
  14. Does anybody mind if I change the topic to something else about the game? I had not been to a Steelers game in person for a couple years. On the other hand, I have Bengals season tickets so I see them a few times a year. To my understanding, both teams use "zone blocking" schemes by their offensive lines. The Steelers looked liked they were able to seal the edges better than the Bengals allowing big runs by their "backup" RBs (almost every single play). I have no clue what the Bengals were doing. It seems like their line tries to out muscle the opponents and the RBs look for holes that aren't there. Can somebody educate me?
  15. I want to be him when I grow up.
  16. If it's like the Dodgers, the Hollywood celebrities won't get there until the 2nd quarter and leave after the start of the 4th quarter. Better schedule all night games. The NFL might interfere with beach time or Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive shopping.
  17. The Bengals will never have to worry about NOT being showcased in primetime anymore (even if they go 4-12 in a given season). NBC and ESPN will demand at least one of the yearly Steelers/Bengals games for the next decade.
