Most of the Whitley people I work with and know seem to think it is pretty big. The post about Bell's RB's. I think they all bring different things to the table, but they all are very capable backs. Davenport IMO breaks a ton of tackles for back his size, plus he is much stronger than people think. I truly think they will all get their carries and their will be certain games 1 particular RB is the GO-TO back. I don't think any of them will know when that time may come!!!!!

NL will give the "pups" all they want. I find it interesting that Larkey landed at NL and not Rock. He is doing a good job and proving to alot of us what we have always suspected. NL has some talent!

It is but somehow a Boyle and Rock/Harlan fan found their way on it. LOL J/K Should be a great game. This has to be the Biggest regular season game Whitley has had in a long, long time. Maybe forever.

The playoff record against each other is 4-2 in favor of Rock. Is that owning?Bell seemed to always make it back for the re-match when they lost in the regular season. Rock did not until the last 2 years. 2 of those loses were in 01 and 02 those were some of the poorer Bell teams they have had, taking nothing away from Rock but Bell was not very good. 2005 was a good Bell team that just simply got their tail kicked by Rock.

Actually since both have been in the same classification they are 8-8. Since 1982 Bell holds an advantage and Bell has won 4 in a row now against Rock by a combined score of 146 to 7. Bell has been known as the "King of the Mountains" Since the early 90's. Should be a great game. Bell has lost to Whitley 2 times since 1983 or so. Last time was in 2000.

1st of all Bell is the King of the Mountains and has been for 2 decades. They don't take turns. Till someone in the mnts can step-up and beat Bell year in year out they will be. Rock threatened that title for a while but Bell overcame them.

Looks like Bell is the underdog. Whitley thinks they have something to prove. Bell Co. just has to stay the course. Whitley is very hungry to finally Beat Bell Co. I just don't think Whitley can do it when comes down too it. Bell has held the advantage for a long, long time and will continue to do so.

Being good on 7 on 7 does not make you a good team. Just b/c they beat Rock and Harlan Co. in 7 on 7 does not mean they are good. MCC has improved but Pineville is still Pineville. Hazard will have no problems with the lions and Harlan will have just a few.

It is amazing that freshman can come in and contribute on the Varsity level. Not just a few schools but a large majority. I think a lot of it has to do with the decrease of numbers in MOST programs. There is not as many upperclassmen to choose from now like their was 20 years ago. Nobody wants to wait their turn for PT!!!!!
