Well if Highlands is playing DIII then i think they would win a lot of titles. As far as that goes to the Highlands bashers how many DIII schools play Elder St. X Colerain etc??????????????????????

And actually I would not know Mrs. Boots if she were standing in front of me so maybe she was at events I have attended and I would not be aware.

Well.............I would not say I am sugar coating for the administration and quite frankly I do NOT think they do a good job with the athletics at all as far as getting the right people in, etc. I also think their is way too much coaching turnover to ever really get a program developed where it should be. With that said I also am not going to bash them when I have witnessed them at events. I do nto follow them around and track what they go to nor do I care. I will say I would NOT want my kids involved in athletics at Campbell County because of the turnover and other issues I have witnessed in the athletics dept. over the past several years. Fortunately I do not have to worry about that..........

Odd statement............................Nobody is paid to attend games and it certainly is not in anybodys contract. You know I saw both Mr. Strong and Mrs. Wilson at the baseball districts last year and they both had meetings right after school and that night and both came down to watch the baseball game in between the two meetings. Quite frankly that says a lot to their commitment.

ok seriously Cottingham is not only the number one catcher in Ft. Mitchell but in Northern Kentucky. Bertke is a very good player but lets not start making a catcher controversy when I doubt if there is one.

So how has this group faired in the pre season?

My personal opinion is that you should get on one of the Ft. Thomas busses and learn a little Eastern Ky. geography. Plus you can watch the video of your Cardinals game twice on the way to Cawood....................I doubt the Colerain Cardinals have been anywhere like Harlan County

I think the Cats win as well. Now I hope I am wrong because having to live with the UK contingency with basketball off to a great start and a probable Maui championship AND beating Tennessee in football is just too much to handle.

Beechwood 7th grade is very talented and has great size in the post. Will be a good team.

There are lots of schools that do charity work and classy work both public and private.........This is not about the school doing class.................. this falls on the shoulders of the head coach. Not the kids................I would think 99% of the things Trinity does exudes class.

RM: I will continue to root for Trinity from far away because I think what they have accomplished over the years is amazing and they are a Catholic school and I always root for the Catholic schools in the state to do well. However I stand by my opinion on this.

Maybe those of us who have nothing to do with HS football and are involved with schools that do not even field football teams see Trinity as the pinnacle of Ky HS football and thus would think their coach would be above getting an extra touchdown regardless of how evil the Manual folk are........................ Also being affiliated with a Catholic school you should know that any time a Catholic school does something that is deemed "non Catholic" it is going to be pointed out very quickly. Lets face it Trinity is going to take a ton of criticism on this and rightfully so.............What speaks volumes is the amount of people getting on here and trying to defend the actions. Why not be humble and say you know what we screwed up...........Our track record is really good in this regard but this time we did wrong......That would speak volumes about the Trinity people instead of teh finger pointing at other programs

Well I got on here to read about the seniors to be and the ones that will have an impact in the 9th region...............Instead I walk into a "bash bluegrass fest". Look first I do not know how "the new president" of Bluegrass.....whomever that is...........is destroying the organization. I do know that I have the utmost respect for many of the coaches within the Bluegrass organization and think highly of the Rob Sanders, Mills Rouse and Troy Bertke's of the world and their ability to do things within the world of baseball. I am not a big fan of people who steal players behind others back and try to steal teams from coaches. I have seen this happen over the past year within the Bluegrass organization and quite frankly if a person is not happy they can leave. Leaving a trail of destruction behind is not necessary. Bluegrass does work hard to keep costs down for parents and so maybe they do not get to all the showcases some parents would like............Then again I know that Coach Sanders will work hard and use his contacts to get kids placed at colleges to play baseball.

That is great for the college game..............................CF is right..........Take the high road and take a knee. And for goodness sake quit trying to spin this bad decision into something correct (practicing end of game strategy get real). You know when someone is wrong when they avoid the issue and try to point out the faults of others (this thread is full of what St. X, Male, Manual, etc did wrong) in order to justify your wrong doing. As someone who respects the Trinity program and Catholic schools in general I have lost respect for them and some of the fans who spin it to be a justifiable decision.....And to call for the thread to be closed? That speaks volumes.

Look just because a situation is not working out for a coach does not mean the people in charge are shortsighted. I am not familiar enough with the situation to say one way or the other but coaches have to take responsibility for their actions as well............and if the administration so chooses they have the right to make a change based on any coaches actions.

Just because a coach gives a response in a thread does not make it "the be all and end all' of the situation. I really question even getting involved in a thread as a coach at times especially when you cannot shed light on what the real problems are. I will say that what has really transpired over the course of this season will never see the light of day on any posts............but for now he is still the football coach until we hear otherwise.
