They probably do need time to play together, since it is like an AAU team. Kids from all over trying to develop chemistry. I dont think there is one out there in the 8th region this year, but I am rooting for this year's Trimble.

Absolutely no dog in this fight......just stumbled across the thread.....if a coach is going 7.5 deep that is close to what most rotations are. If you have the luxury of going 8 or 9, that is GREAT! It may be early to know what the "rotation" is, but if the kids have been around a while, it becomes fairly obvious on the pecking order?

Coach Burns does a great job at Spencer County. Give him some talent and he can win several and beat some that maybe they arent "supposed to beat."

The teams that Male will have to adjust to are the ones that can shoot them out of the zone. Male is huge but will have trouble matching up if they use their "big" lineup. Bullitt East may be a good test for them and definitely would have been if their 2 post players werent injured---not sure how BE will guard their size. Yes!

Some D2 programs are comparable if not better than D1 programs. People throw "D1" around all the time. But that could be UCONN or it could be Murray State (no disrespect intended). It is just a huge gap to throw a blanket "D1" on all of them. Locally (women's basketball): Bellarmine D2-Murray State D1 good game??? Bellarmine-Morehead State D1 good game??? U of L-Bellarmine NOT even competitive My point is who cares what number comes after the D. As long as the kids have a chance to play at the next level (and possibly save mom and dad some college money), that is what should matter.
