Fern Creek over Mercy? I am not able to follow softball as closely as I do some other sports, but this seems to be an upset?

I can tell you for a fact that at least 3 are interviewing......heard from all 3 of their mouths (pretty good source). I will too respect their privacy and not mention names. I think all 3 would do a nice job at OC. Hopefully they don't drag the decision process out so the coach and the kids can get started.

Was a middle school coach in the area a few years back. Thinking he may have been an assistant at BC in the past---but can't confirm this one.

I believe he was the assistant boys coach-----that is all I have on it.

Josh Cravens is the new coach at BC.

Jesse Curry is the new boys coach at BC.

Lauren Deel from North Bullitt has also accepted the invitation to play. Who else?

I would think most schools would know the majority of positions they will have open? Is this an incorrect assumption?

The list posted above has 25 (i think a couple of those are spoken for), but still 20 or so open in mid-May seems like a lot with summer games/camps just around the corner?

People close to it told me that parents went to administration about things that were happening in the program. They did not give details.

Fern Creek hired Hibbs. Done deal......saw an advertisement from her about a pre-season thing FC is going to host.

Expectations will still be high and possibly unrealistic from the outside. But principal and AD are both VERY sports minded. They will have more realistic expectations!
