The list posted above has 25 (i think a couple of those are spoken for), but still 20 or so open in mid-May seems like a lot with summer games/camps just around the corner?

Maybe a lot of schools will be hiring after school is out and teaching positions are clarified?

I would think most schools would know the majority of positions they will have open? Is this an incorrect assumption?

I think the number of openings still available reflect the number of people wanting to be coaches...

 

Unruly parents, lack of administrative support, lack of commitment from kids, etc. are reasons people aren't interested in, or are leaving, coaching.

Any rumors out there on any of the positions being filled?
