I have admittedly not seen Creech play...but I have been around girls basketball for about 20 years now. Boley is one of the top 4 or 5 girls that I have ever witnessed play the game from the state of Kentucky. She does it all for her team.....the difference is (not Creech's fault), Boley has a supporting cast where she doesnt have to shoot every shot and score every point. You put Boley on the Jenkins team and playing the Jenkins schedule, she is the all time leading scorer in Kentucky. Could you say the same if you put Creech on Etown's team? That is my argument that Boley should win the award. Time will tell.

old argument.....and i disagree wholeheartedly.....boys game would be too fast and physical.......just two different sports. erin boley is the best player in the state and would not be able to cross over either.....just let them be good girls players!!!

The Eagles are having a terrific season......they had a little hiccup against St. X in the LIT when they shot poorly. But, other than that game, they have been solid. They will be a tough out when tournament time comes.

Pretty fair list????? Mercy and Butler play tonight......that could shake some things up or distance Butler from the pack.

High School ball is basically AAU ball anymore. Kids just drift to whatever team they know some people on. If that's what makes them (or more importantly the parents....tongue in cheek) happy----roll with it says this "dinosaur."

Things just arent like they used to be......a few schools have accumulated talent from places outside of their district/area. Probably not all are shady deals.....but I personally root for the teams that do it with their "own" kids. I have given up the fight involving the R word....so if it makes people feel better to drift to a "stacked" team to win the championship....it is all good with this dinosaur!!!
