If the favorites in the districts hold true, and the district winners win their first regional game, the semis could have boone, newcath, dixie, and holmes. Any 2 team matchup would be great.

As a Holmes grad I am proud of what these boys have done, bringing some positive stories to the school and finally not hearing any more stories of it being a "bad school".

I'm pretty sure that's why he got the tech. I love how he has played this year, especially lately, seems like he is on a mission. Holmes in my opinion has the two best players in the state, Rico and Pittman. Diferent style players, but both can take a game over at any point.

It's nice to see Newport in the finals. I think game will be like the Holmes/Boone game tonight, but Holmes will not let up as easliy. I hope they have different refs, the same refs two games in a row for Holmes had to be annoying in a way.

I believe Pittman got a tech for taunting, pulling his jersey to the side showing his chest. Once he did that the ref T'd him up. I agree the officiating was horrible tonight both ways.

Holmes has been very confident and focused since the start of districts. The big 3, as well as the other seniors, want to end their season at Rupp, preferably with another state title. They know what they have to do to win and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

How many "star" athletes do it both offensively and defensively? Rico does it at both ends of the floor. That's why he will win. Also, as far as Collinsworth, that was all in his last name. But thats another sport so I won't discuss that.
