"Playing a little defense" has been the problem ALL year. I don't think enough importance was stressed on the defensive side of the ball, and untill it is, this team will continue to struggle in years to come. Just my two cents

I saw Coach Schumate stay on the sidelines for a regular season game (against Cov. Cath.) when it looked like he had bubonic plague. He was in a cold sweat and having balance problems but stayed until the end. I hope Coach Listerman stays at Cov. Cath. into perpetuity, but when he leaves I hope coaches like Coach Schumate apply for the opening.

Shumate is one of the top coaches in the area. When was the last time Beechwood was relevant prior to this run under Shumate?
