  1. Fitbits do not have Wifi capabilities.
  2. A Fitbit cannot track what you eat or how you exercise other than to distinguish whether you were ambulatory or not. To my knowledge only the most expensive model has GPS capabilities.
  3. I have the most basic one and it can track: steps distance (based upon your height) active minutes calories burned (based upon your weight) calories consumed (if you enter this information) sleep weight loss (if you enter this information) Some more costly models can track flights of stairs climbed and heart rate.
  4. It wouldn't have to be 24 hours. Get your 10,000 steps and take it off. Unless the school had a password to your account, they really can't get much information other than how many steps you had each day, even if you are "friends" on the Fitbit network.
  5. I don't have a problem with it, hopefully there is some sort of allowance or accommodation for any student that has a disability. Looking back on my college years I don't think that getting 10,000 steps per day would really be much of a challenge. (Assuming you went to class). Maybe on the weekends if I was really hungover, but otherwise it is probably something that most students would attain without even really trying.
  6. I've recently discovered Whitey Morgan and the 78's. They play old school country music. There not exactly new but they did release their newest album mid 2015. Probably not the type of thing that will ever get played on mainstream country radio, but maybe with the success of Chris Stapleton there is a chance.
  7. Add to that list Tyler Brown of Apollo. He spent a couple years in Juco before becomming a key player for Ill St. his junior and senior year. Averaged over 18 ppg his senior year and spent some time in the D-league.
  8. As an Apollo fan, I had the Eli Wright & Trace Young in mind when making this post. I'm sure there are others was well. Not to say that either of these two would have won Mr. Basketball, but I think both would have been in the running.
  9. Probably a topic for a different thread, but If you were to compare recent Mr. Basketball winners to those who won several years ago, I don't think they would compare very favorablly at all. Seems like the award has been watered down some, due to the fact that many of the best players (think D'Angelo Russell) have left for out of state academies. I guess the same is probably true for a lot of states. I understand why they choose to leave, but it's unfortunate for high school basketball fans as we often no longer get to see the best talent that the state produces play locally.
  10. According to this document I found online, Dennis Johnson had 76 sacks. http://khsaa.org/httpdocs/hallfame/ScreenedNominees/Johnson,%20Dennis.pdf
  11. I just wanted to add that Double Dogs is also operated by the same company that operates Rafferty's and Montana Grill.
  12. Buckhead Cafe is a great place to get a sandwich. They also have salads and pizza and great desserts. I usually get the chicken fingers with killer chips.
  13. I've seen the way that Texas does it mentioned a couple of times. Those complaining about the drive should be glad their schools aren't located down there. Had a school from El Paso made the finals last year they would have had to to travel 614 miles each way to Arlington. Of course that's a quick trip compared to what they would face this year with Houston being 741 miles away.
  14. According to the NCAA WKU averaged 16,306 in attendance last year. I would guess that # is only going to increase this season. That seems pretty good to me considering it is a relatively new FBS program.
  15. I believe that I saw in an article about his passing online earlier this morning that he had won a championship as a player at Ballard in the 70's.
  16. He also coached at Owensboro Catholic. Kinda ironic that they play each other tonight. He was the soccer coach at Apollo while I was there. He seemed well liked and respected by his players.
  17. 22' has 3 kids that played in Owensboro last year. I suppose that is why it is of interest here.
  18. Yeah, but if they would've have got it they would've only needed 20 more points and they did have almost six whole seconds left any maybe a TO or two.
  19. 2pt conversion is good. 34-15
  20. TD Murray. Britt w his 2nd TD. 0:05.9
  21. Never mind. Murray called TO. :09.9
