Additionally it wasn't all that uncommon for the 3rd region final to be a rematch of the 9th district final. Nor was it uncommon for the 9th district runner up to win the 3rd region.

Apollo has only been a high school since 1972, so they have a bit of a disadvantage as compared to some of the other schools across the state.

I was trying to determine what the score for Apollo would be using your format. From what I could gather online they have 9 regional championships and 7 state tournament game wins. I'd also be interested in Owensboro, but I fully expect that they will be included in the Top 10 rankings once you release them.

Just curious, where do you find the information on district championships. I was able to find all the state tournament stats and regional championship winners online but couldn't find the district numbers.

In the last 75 years the 3rd Region Championship has only been won 23 times by a school other than the current members of the 9th District.

It works both ways I guess. Going into the summer I'd have bet my mortgage that Apollo would be in the Sweet Sixteen this year, but then transfers.....

Probably more than I would trust my wife to drive when I am asleep. She an ok driver unless she has to park but she is terrible with directions. Even a GPS won't help. I'd wake up and we would be 200 miles the wrong direction.

I'm not that bothered by this. Those cars are probably a lot safer drivers than a lot of people that are out there on the road.

Owensboro came as close as you can without doing it last year with a runner up in football and championship in basketball.

If Urban Meyer can suspends his players for DUI, I see no reason why a high school coach should be able to as well. Heck when I was in high school we had 5 players kicked off the baseball team for getting arrested for underage drinking.

I'm not sure that I believe that Apple doesn't already have a way to get into the phone. But that is just an opinion. Perhaps the FBI should take the phone to Anonymous, they seem pretty good and hacking into things. I don't really have a big issue with this guys right to privacy, search and seizure issues, etc. I think that once you commit an act of terrorism or treason against your country that you forfeit most of your rights. It's not like there is any chance this guy is innocent of the crimes.
