Boone County/Simon Kenton Predictions
Much like Conner, Boone knows everything they need to know about SK. There aren't any secrets. If they can run the ball between the tackles they keep the game close. If not, SK will run 3x as many plays as BC and wins with the clock running.

Ryle/George Rogers Clark Predictions
This is a keep your starters healthy type of game for Ryle. Don't see them being challenged in this one. On a side note, when is someone going to start questioning the Ryle schedule? Guess they couldn't find an opening at Elder or Moeller? I kid......:sssh:

Newport Catholic's Kelly brothers
I'm also a big Chris Kelly fan. He was fantastic, as was Mark, in HS. Chris was a great leader on those EKU teams. Started as a walk on and earned his scholly with his heart and passion. Never the biggest guy in the fight but he never knew that.

It's not our fault that Highlands isn't Highlands anymore. Not our fault.

Highlands /Simon Kenton. No more.
In my mind? 1. Trinity has been the measuring stick with St. X and Male tied at 2 and Scott County right behind them. SK is next over the past 10 years with Ryle and then Campbell included.

Conner 27 Newport Central Catholic 14
I like the looks of the younger Kelly kid. If he turns out to be half as good as his big brothers there's a bright future for NCC.

Highlands /Simon Kenton. No more.
I'd love to see it happen. The NKY 6A programs are getting better. Having 2 in the top 5 or 6 every year is great. Never understand why so much jealously in NKY. I always cheer for the NKY teams when they play outside the region. I love it when NKY football is doing well. Drives me crazy to see neighboring programs talk garbage about another program, especially in 6A where we know the bullies on the block are in Jefferson County. Don't hate on SK, if you want/need to hate, go hate Trinity, St. X or Male.

Bullitt East Hunter Perdue 7 TDs in the 1st Half and he only touched the ball 9 times
That's some pretty impressive work.

I love to read the fear in the posts from those jealous of the rise of the SK program. Keep on hating. Whine about the schedule. Keep acting like you all know what's best. In the end, I trust Jeff to continue building this program into one of the state's elite.

Bristol Motor Speedway loves the Belfry Pirates :)
That's pretty cool. Thanks for mentioning the old Varney Jets....hadn't thought about Varney in decades.

Kentucky Football AP Polls
Exactly what I love about NCC football. They have some bigger schools in the area and don't back down from anyone. I think it helps them in the playoffs.

Simon Kenton/Highlands Predictions
Should make it to ChickFilA before they close, with the running clock and all. Have to think of the positives. :lol2:

Simon Kenton/Highlands Predictions
Hyperbole? I'm sure the SK staff and most of the parents haven't forgotten some of the scores from past games. If the score gets out of hand, I'd expect them to show class and not intentionally run up the score by throwing the ball late. We should do the same things Dale used to when he was in charge over there.

Simon Kenton/Highlands Predictions
Heard that this week is homecoming for FTH. Can someone confirm?

Kentucky Football AP Polls
The fact that you are hoping FTH can be a 'sleeper' in 5A says a lot about the state of the program. Never thought I'd hear these types of statements about the Birds.
