Has this been announced? I know the players & coaches are getting honored on Friday Night at the State Tournament, but have the lists been released yet? I would love to know, any help would be appreciated!:thumb: I have some inside information on the 12th region player and coach of the year, but I don't want to spill it unless these have been formally announced somewhere.

Polson can't be 5'10 I stood up next to him durring the Lincoln game. They may list him at 6'1, but he is very short. Why does that matter? He is a real talent who will be good at the next level.

Oh my gosh! The state tournament favorite has just been knocked off.

I just got home from the game. West Jessamine played great! McCreary Central played tight until the 4th quarter. McCreary had 2 players foul out. Polson is a studddd.

I thought it was well officiated and for these two teams to score below 50-60 points ... I would say good defense was played by both teams.

The 2 time defending 12th Region Champion Lincoln County Patriots got knocked off last night by McCreary Central in the semi-finals. I don't know if you want to call it an upset or not, but the Patriots had the best record in the region going into the tournament. The Patriots also had defeated every team in the regional tournament in the regular season.

West has another semi-easy win. Should bode well for them against McCreary Central who had to win a war tonight against Lincoln Co. Also, let me say that Wayne Co.'s Soph. Center will be one of the best players in the 12th Region next season. And, Ethan Spurlin of Lincoln Co. is right there with Polson of West Jess. & Watts of McCreary Cent.

Great game tonight. One of the most exciting basketball games that I have been to, even though Lincoln came out on the wrong end. Congratulations to McCreary Central. But they still need to finish the deal. I am picking West Jessamine tomorrow night, but I am rooting for the McCreary Central Raiders. For Lincoln County, Great 3 year run! These seniors for Lincoln have won 87 basketball games in 4 years. I am fairly sure that is a school record for a 4 year run. Lincoln finishes 20 wins and 10 losses. Congratulations to the Patriots, you have nothing to hang your heads about. Go Raiders! I hope you are heading to Rupp. I will be there to cheer you on as you represent the 12th!

Maybe so, but when everyone was healthy, Lincoln wins by around 16 I think. (not sure the exact margin of victory).

I am not going to disclose why, but I think the Raiders may just defeat the 2 time defending 12 region champion Patriots of Lincoln County tonight in Stanford. :eek: I hate to say this, but after the bit of information that I found out today, the MC Raiders should be able to win tonight.:madman:
