The refs didn't have to do much in the McCreary/East Jess game. East sat back in their zone and allowed McCreary to stick wide open 3's all night!

East played a zone and McCreary shot lights out. East got down early and quickly layed down. No fight in those kids after getting punched in the mouth. McCreary looked very impressive.

West wins by 10.

Lincoln 25 & McCreary 85 :notworthy:

I just got home from the game. Lincoln did not play with the effort that they should have. And still won by 21. Spurlin plays passive and still gets 22 or 23 points and 10+ rebounds. Lincoln better be ready for McCreary on Monday night at 8:00

West Jessamine looked good against a nice Danville team. I might should say that Polson looked good against Danville. I really don't remember any of West's other players.

Rockcastle was an easy win. West Jessamine will not be.

Did anyone question the game against Rockcastle? I think most thought that they would win. The question comes now.... Can they beat West Jessamine? That is the question. I am picking West, but I am for Wayne. :popcorn:

Yeah, I went tonight, and Rockcastle was just overmatched. They got out hustled the entire game, and Rockcastle just quit mid way through the 3rd quarter. Congratulations to Wayne for advancing. They now meet West Jessamine in the semi-finals.

Just now getting home from the game. Congratulations to West Jess. for advancing. My hat's off to the Danville team. They played their hearts out, but in the end they had no answer for Polson who had 38 points.

They will get their first win tonight, but it will also be their last win this season.

Who said they had no talent??? :idunno: They have tons of talent! The question always was, why can't they win with all of it. This year they have quieted those questions after two disapointing seasons in a row.:sssh:

The Lincoln County loss to Soutwestern Pulaski came nearly a month ago (19 days ago). That was Lincolns worst game of the season that you are referencing coming off a huge rivalry Garrard County win at home the night before.

The only 1st round upset would be if Casey could beat Lincoln. Other than that I wouldn't be surprised if anyone wins their first round games. You could say if Danville were to beat West Jessamine in the first round that would be an upset. But Danville is a very atheletic team who can beat anyone on any given night.

My initial predictions... Wayne beats Rockcastle West Jess beats Danville McCreary beats East Jess Lincoln beats Casey Then.... West Jess beats Wayne Lincoln beats McCreary Championship Lincoln beats West Jess to go back to Rupp for the 3rd year in a row!

West Jessamine has the easiest road to the finals.
