The Raiders move on to the second round of the 12th region tournament to face the winner of Casey/Lincoln.

 

The Raiders are rolling. They are playing the best in this region.

The 48th has looked good in the first two games.

Aaron Watts had a huge game with 27 points.

 

It helped that East Jessamine played a zone. He lit them up for 22 in the 1st half.

McCreary is going to be very tough in this region.

East played a zone and McCreary shot lights out.

 

East got down early and quickly layed down. No fight in those kids after getting punched in the mouth.

 

McCreary looked very impressive.

Just got home from the game and the atmosphere from the McCreary fans was unreal. They had at least two thirds of one side of the gym full. THe players are feeding off of the fans energy and vice versa. The McCreary kids are playing with heart and desire. Great match up with Lincoln coming on Monday night.

It was nice to have three really good referees on the floor at one time. The 14th region refs for our game tonight was really good(for refs). The 12th region is struggling for quality officials this year.

The refs didn't have to do much in the McCreary/East Jess game. East sat back in their zone and allowed McCreary to stick wide open 3's all night!

I agree, the Raiders looked really impressive! Let's not forget the Senior Shrock who had a huge game tonight as well. He was really good tonight!:clap:

Zone or not I think the officiating was far superior to what I have seen in the 12th region in the last few weeks. Our officials are subpar.

The Raiders are hungry and I think that has showed over the last 2 weeks. They are playing great team basketball. The dunk by Schrock just capped off a very impressive performance for the Raiders last night. I can't wait for Monday night, it will be a great game. :thumb:

Monday will be a great Game. I look for both teams to play well. Could come down to who has Basketball Last. How is the Dixon Kid? Will he play aganist Linclon????
