Ballard's Athletes may be the difference in this game.

This is always my favorite game to go to all year. IMO, one of the best rivalry games in the state. I know Catholic is a little down this year but I know they will come to play in this one. The point guard matchup with Sanford and Jackson should be fun to watch. Thoughts from anyone on how this one may turn out ?

I was just wondering if I could get some help. I was curious to know where all the region tournaments will be held this year. I know 9th and 10th will be at NKU, 8th is always at Henry Co. and 6th and 7th are usually at the Louisville Gardens, but I need some help on the other ones. Thanks guys.

This one is getting ugly quick in the 4th, Scott Co. leads 80-55, 5 minutes left in the game.

Too bad the format has those teams playing in the second round and not further down the road ! Rupp would be close to a sell out for that rematch on saturday night.

I agree totally, people like you and me who see Scott Co. every night realize that Jackson is much more valuable to the team the Ge-Lawn.

Zach Montgomery transferred to Lafayette and was the leading scorer in lexington and in the same class Lance Snowden transferred out to Lexington Catholic. The fact is that Scott County is a great location and the entire community backs them. It has a decent education system and great coaches. Look at Gelawn's jump shot and defense compared to last year. He is a completely different player. Scott County is on television more than any other team in the state and has played the number one team in the nation 3 years in a row. People have to realize that families don't just pack up and move for their kids to play ball. The families had a reason to move and I'm sure everyone can agree that if your son was good at basketball and you were moving you would want your son to play with and for the best in the state. I understand that it doesn't seem fair but I also don't think it is fair to trash a program and kids when they have done nothing wrong. Billy Hicks and his players work just as hard or harder than any program in the state and to make false accusations and trash families is poor taste in my opinion.

What you all don't realize is that Scott Co. has probably had more kids transfer out than transfer in.

Housley, thats who I was trying to think of in the other thread Eta, not Riley. About every top team in the state has at least one transfer.

Yeah, the Barber kid starts JV, but didn't even dress Varsity against Franklin Co.

Well Elliot Co., congratulations for getting some quality teams to make the trip.

As for the whole Euton thing, he's a total team player. Sure he lacks speed and athleticism, but makes up for it with his basketball I.Q. and leadership ability. He doesn't force anything and let's the game come to him. He, like the other three on S.C. have the luxury of knowing they don't have to score 20 a night to give their team a chance to win. I really wish people would cut him some slack. He's just a kid who's having fun playing ball.
