Pulaski Co has some big games this week.. anxious to see how they play out. Great job as usual.

This is a game that Pulaski should've never lost.

Riley played and so did the NM transfers Rockcastle came out fired up and ready to play, seemed like they wanted this one much more than PC. The 47th district looks to be wide open. Pulaski is going to need to learn to play with everyone now. A lot of talent but doesn't matter if they can't mesh come tourney time. After a great win against Boyle, this one comes as a bit of a surprise.

I'm not sure if he's 100% or not.. he's missed quite a bit of time so every game should be a step in the right direction for him in getting back into the basketball flow. Dobbs has been playing well and has given quality minutes for Pulaski so Sylvester has been able to be worked in a bit slower perhaps.

I can answer that, of course they can beat them.. They beat them last year while bringing back their entire team. I have yet to see Mercer this year, however with the leadership of Wayne I believe they have ebough to pull an upset as well

Best game he has played this year. Hopefully he's starting to find his stride. Pulaski played some good defense overall. It was a good effort tonight!

Players taking 50% of a teams shots is a receipe for disaster come tournament time if the shots are not falling. Teams that seem to have the most post season success involve everyone on the floor. The 1000 point club does not equal success as a team. Good coaches know who has the green light on teams making it a lot easier to provide road construction. When everyone on the floor is encouraged to contribute, IMO it pays off later. Confidence is part of any sport.

Southwestern normal plays half or full court 2-2-1 dropping back into zone. I'd suspect they'd look at something similar against Mercer.

46-39 SW at the half

Male came out flat in this game and was never able to recover. Butt was charged with a technical in pre game warmups but Male was unable to convert on FT's and set the tone for them in the opening half. Southwestern will play Lafayette tomorrow in the championship game.

Wayne was too much on this night... Good to see Stearns back for Wayne. Like the above poster said, he looked to be moving fairly well! Blevins had a good night, played especially well in the first half. Pulaski has the pieces to be able to compete on any given night. Sylvester is a bit rusty, but to be expected coming off such a long layoff. He'll continue to build on his confidence. It's good for Pulaski that he's able to get some games in during this tournament and was able to come back possibly a bit sooner than expected originally

Clayton Hughes (University School of Jackson) (UCF commit) has been a great talent to watch from out of state!

I was very impressed with Dougherty in the game I saw. He had a strong leg and converted on the FG with ease. Very good player! I only saw 1 of the top 3 kickers on the list but could've seen him as a top 3 kicker this year. Didn't he play some LB for Highlands as well?

Surprised that Burgett from Pulaski failed to make HM

Not overly surprised. Muhlenberg Co likes to play up in tempo and lacks the size down low to compete with Mercer. Madison Central will be a tougher test, but it seems like Mercer needs to be given credit. They're playing some good ball right now.. That's what happens when you return your entire squad. Chemistry seems to be strong.

Feldhaus gives them an advantage most nights. He is a very good coach.. was a great hire for Male.

Riley Hall is an exceptional athlete but an even better person off the field/court. It's been an honor to see him play for the past few seasons. Three straight trips to BG under his guidance has certainly raised expectations for the Pulaski program for many years to come

SL was on my mind as well.. Was also thinking Lincoln County for similar reasons.... Tough district to win, in good years they competed well within the district but struggle to get over the hump in the big games. Also add in their success in basketball the past few years (girls and boys)...

Good deal, my bad. Surprised by the outcome of the score myself. Casey has really struggled on the defensive side of the ball this year.
