  1. If he brings Wall and Cousins UK could be scary good next year. Wall is a tremendous talent. Think of all the open looks for Meeks and Patterson...
  2. I think that will depend on the developement of some of the jv players from Beechwood. The players they are losing IMO will be very hard to replace, but Beechwood does seem to have some talent on the lower levels. If that talent developes I think that Beechwood will be pretty good but I still believe Dayton will be the better team with or without the transfers IMO.
  3. Dont want it to be Ford, but it looks like it will be. Hopefully Donovan does like numerous coaches before him and says he's not leaving only to bolt days/hours later
  4. They all say that right before they leave
  5. I agree with this...Central's zone defenses comfused Eastern and Homes, but I don't think you can play those against the shooters of Elliot Co. Central would definitely have a strength advantage, but I don't think it would matter too much because of the way Elliot defends the post...guards root very well, any back to the basket game would have to be very quick and IMO Patterson or Wilson wouldn't have much success facing up against Knipp's length
  6. I thought that Justice's acting job earned that one. Can't say it was truly intentional, but the kid did a great job of selling it in front of the official.
  7. I was rsponding to another post, I didn't even see yours. I do agree that he did a good job on him no doubt.
  8. 100% on the money. There were several possesions where BC players didn't even LOOK at the rim because Holmes is so active around the ball.
  9. I agree completely. Like I said in an earlier post, it was acombination of Pittman not working hard, Bc keeping a man sagged and shaded to his side, and adequate D by Brown. For being 6' Brown did a good job guarding the much bigger Pittman, but it was by no means a one man effort.
  10. I think this could turn out to be an interesting match up to see if Holmes gets caught up in EC's style of play. I don't think that it would be a bad thing, but not sure that is what Coach Henley wants. If this game actually happens it will be fun to watch.
  11. I think it was more strategy by both teams that kept Pittman in check in the first half. Holmes did not move on offense and BC had one of their big guys guarding JJ (I may be mistaken) to sag off and prevent the pass to the middle. Pittman just stood on the block and didn't work for the ball. I would love to see a team like Holmes run a Princeton style offense with the athletes that they have, but there was no movement at all.
  12. I was amazed by this. Boone didn't even shoot a 3 until they had to to tie the game and actually the 2nd shot they got off would have been a 2 anyway. I guess they counted the heave at the end of one of the quarters as an attempt
  13. Rico was the leading scorer, Pittman only had 4 and 2 came from the line
  14. Doesn't really seem like a good idea to hire a guy that has obvious troubles of his own. Turmoil on the Arkansas team just like UK. Just because he's a UK guy doesn't make him a fit. They've won what 2 games in conference play? Too much talent on that team to lose so much.
