  1. Haven't seen either team, but based on everything I've read about Elliot CO they must have a fine team this year. Elliot Co 99 Boyd Co 48 I'm just predicting a closer game so if it actually happens I can say I was right :jump:
  2. An especially good win for Dayton when you take into consideration that Lloyd has 7 seniors that get quality minutes and Dayton has none in its current rotation. You would think that the technicals would have gone to the less experienced team and the foul shots made by the more experienced team. I am not saying that the technicals were deserved because I was not at the game, but I would expect a senior laden team to have better control of their emotions when the game is on the line. Good win Dayton!!!!!
  3. One thing that I find strange about Beechwood is that Dayton's 8th grade team beat them 5 times last year (3 8th grade games and 2 frosh games using ALL 8th graders) and not one of those games was even close, yet I see a thread on here that the Beechwood frosh handled Ryle's frosh by 20 in their season opener. Where did the talent come from? It certainly wasn't there last year and to say that the kids they had last year improved that much over one summer is pretty ridiculous. I'm just wondering if someone could let me in on the secret.
  4. I agree. Young must have had an off night because I have saw him play a couple times this year and coming into this game I believed him to be the tigers best offensive threat. The games that I have seen he has also given gret effort on every defensive possession. COuld he have been tired? The tigers do not have much post help on their bench.
  5. Beechwood will have their hands full with Calvary Christian. Don't get me wrong, Beechwood is a very good, disciplined basketball team that plays within their system, but to say they will dominate this year is absurd.
