AI will not be in Detroit next year. And I bleieve the deal to get Iverson was more about opening cap space than anything else. There's been some DUmars bashing on here, but I think he saw that his team could not get to the finals without morgatging the future so he decided to be proactive. I don't think his job is in jeopardy one bit and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pistons as major players in the east again in a few short years.

This couldn't be further from the truth...Even though there is no truth to the rumor, IMO there is no doubt that he could crack the 8/9 man rotation for the Bulldogs. Not saying he would come in and start, but equipment manager...get serious man

The main thing the Bengals need is pressure on the QB, if they get that then it will make all the DB's on this team look good. I still think they are a bit thin at CB, but the crop of safeties they have now look pretty good.

You said they HAVE one of the worst defenses in the league...I'm just saying that wasn't the case last year. You can argue about Marvin all day, but it's a fact that their defense was what kept them in the games that they were in last year and the offense was inept.

I have to agree with a post I saw earlier on another thread, I don't fault the Henry's for taking their time. They were signed sealed and delivered to Memphis before a huge change uprooted their lives for the time being. There is a lot of pressure on these kids to pick the right school and I don't blame them at all for taking their time

I think you're a year late with the defense complaint. Looked like they took a huge step forward last year on D and the final rankings proved that (I think they ended up 14th or something in total D) It also looked as if Marvin got control of his team back.

Turner Delk Mercer Mashburn Walker I just can't see an all 90's team without Wayne Turner at the point. No matter how busted that shot was he made all the plays when needed.

Congrats to Vee. I didn't see much point guard in him when I saw him play, but I think he has the ability to be a solid 2 guard at the next level.

Now that I think of it I may be thinking of Myron Anthony that went to Oklahoma and got kicked off, but I know I saw Caruth play for a smaller school

Then he went to Oklahoma and got kicked off the team/left and then ended up with a smaller school where he played pretty well. I can't remember the school, but I remember him playing against UK or UC in one of their early season tune up games and scoring about 20.

Wasn't the hoops summitt going on during the same time as the derby classic? Someone posted an article where their father said if they wanted to play for Coach Cal they should go ahead and commit. He said if it were him he wouldn't need a visit. I have to agree that UK's chances are still pretty good, at least I hope.

^ Being a Kentucky fan and following the Wall saga, this seems like it could be possible. It would definitely turn some heads, especially if he announces tonight with a visit to Miami set up next week. If nothing more, I would love for this to be true. I wouldn't rule anything out regarding Wall right now. I wonder how Miami got onto his list. Makes me wonder if he is visiting because all of the guys that played in the McDonald's game were there and he couldn't play in that game...just a thought.

Liggins was dropped to a **** (4) star last year when the final rankings came out, if I'm not mistaken.
