A lot of the teams in region won't schedule Anderson. Anderson has tried to add more region games for years but there doesn't seem to be very many schools that are willing to come play. Owen deserved the win saturday. Anderson was flat out terrible.

Game was close for a quarter, but anderson's inside/outside game took over and proved to be too much. They move on to play Etown in the semis of the Mercer Titan Clash tomorrow at 7:00.

It's just par for the course. Nobody thinks they played well when they lose, unless they consider themselves far inferior to the team they are playing.

Not taking anything away from Ashton, as she is a fine player, but she is in a class that is loaded. I wouldn't give her the award just yet with all the talent in her class.

should be noted that Marion was without Epps. Still, Marion is loaded either way and was a nice game for Anderson. Marion did NOT play well at all.

Mckee and Cann both really improved over the summer playing with Kentucky Premier on the top of the summer circuits. It will be interesting to see how they (as well as the rest of the young Anderson squad) progress through the season. The team as a whole looked very solid in their opening scrimmage against Ryle.

I find it interesting that Eriel Mckee was not listed in the top 10 players...was a coaches poll though and hard to put 3 kids from Anderson in I suppose.

to be fair, all of the better teams and players are listed in the rankings for the 8th region regardless of geographic location. The article is probably written more towards those in the Courier circulation area.
