Sacred Heart vs. Anderson County

Featured Replies

The KHSAA team pages show these two playing one another Sunday afternoon at 2:30 (Dec. 12), but neither school lists it as home game. There also is no indication of a neutral site. Can someone clarify this for those who might wish to attend? Thanks ahead of time. It has the makings of a fine game.

Rupp Arena followed by Marion County vs Scott County at 4PM.

SHA won 49 to 48. Both teams looked nervous on the the 'sacred' floor. SHA was led by Morgan Clemons with 20 points.

I agree that both teams looked nervous but i guess they can be forgiven for that. After all it is "Hallowed Ground". Anderson was led by Whiteside & Cann with 17 and 11 points. Mckee had been sickly and did not start the game and played limited minutes.

I was wondering about Mckee-did not see her name in the score box. Hope she is feeling better. They probably would have won if she was healthy. Cann and Mckee make a good guard combination, not sure if I know Whiteside but she had a good game.

We never like to say "what if" because they usually go both ways so no excuses at all. This time of year probably every team has someone with a little sickness. Whiteside is usually in a reserve roll backing up the post however she is coming along very well for the Bearcats, a 6' athletic sophomore has only played basketball for two seasons. The bearcats are hoping she continues to improve. It was a great game for her.
