  1. I think we'll see a great match-up here in Mcfarland for Boone vs. Nerl for Campbell.
  2. I know they have seven seniors, but I don't know what after that.
  3. I agree with you that the Eagles may have been a little overhyped, but they are still in the top 5 in the 10th region. As for the Indians they were the farthest thing from being overhyped in the preseason. They weren't even ranked in the top 12 maybe even top 15 in NKY preseason.
  4. A.K.A. The Finn... It should be rowdy..
  5. My guess would be towards playing experience because a lot of the seniors for Cov Cath this year played mostly JV last year therefore don't have much varsity experience.
  6. Just wondering, but does anyone have any reasoning for picking Scott?
  7. This should be a very crowded game with a nice atmosphere as a lot of the kids live close to each other and know each other. With that said I think that HC pulls it out in a very close game 64-59.
  8. MC comes in with an attitude and hands it to the eagles.. MC- 62 Scott- 44
  9. City Championship Holmes vs. HC even though Holmes has owned the series as of late, and also HC vs CCH brings alot of fans and always packs the Finn with Colonel Crazies and Finn Fanatics.
  10. Without a doubt! Also changed the momentum completely.
  11. I guess we'll just have to see how the year plays out.:thumb:
  12. I agree, but they are still a top 20 team in the state and just blew out Cov Cath so for Holy Cross I believe it's a step up even though they would have liked to come out with a win. To be in the game in the end when everyone in Mason's starting 5 is taller then Holy Cross's tallest person is something and they did it with defense when they weren't hitting many shots.
  13. I think that if the ball is clearly headed out of bounds then you blow the whistle as it was clearly going to go out of bounds. If another player is close to the ref and had a shot at it then I believe the ref shouldn't blow the whistle.
  14. That's how they're going to have to play this year is defensively and so far they have done a pretty good job looking at their first three games. I think once the Indians start getting more shots to fall they will surprise people. I think them keeping this close opened up some eyes in its own. :thumb:
  15. I agree if he kept the starters in and ran the score up, but if he didn't there isn't much he can do. Does anyone who was at the game know which of these it was?
  16. I thought the Indians showed some people that they have more then what was expected in the start of the year as being able to compete.
  17. Anyone have the stats for this one?
  18. Well then ask someone who was at the game and they'll let you know it wasn't a blow out.
  19. It was at 6 with about 2:30 left in the game. That's when HC had to start putting a lot of pressure on them which was not in their game plan and that's when they pushed it out. Overall it was a close game all the way through untill those last couple minutes.
  20. It was a three point game for a while, then a 6-9 point game for the majority of the game. The effort was there the execution wasn't. Plain and simple.
  21. I'm gonna have to agree with this one as well as Newport will come out tough in the first half especially with Housley warming up on the other side of the court.
  22. This is actually one of the better years for Beechwood with returning a lot of players. Also Holy Cross just beat NCC so I don't agree that they are having a down year either.
