I don't know much about Lloyd, but if they have any athletic seniors, I will go with Lloyd by 10.

Who has Lloyd played so far this year? Any wins, and who are their scorers?

Lloyd looked very flat against a rebuilding Oldham County team on Saturday. 36% FG%, 20% (4 of 20) beyond the arc, and 37.5% (6 of 16) at the line. 23 turnovers. They have some assets, starting with 7 seniors, including 5 senior starters (although note: The expected starting five was not the five that started...Craddock, Oberschlake, and Tackett did not start, but Scott Dunn, Seydrick Walker (both seniors) and Stephen Menefee (jr) started in their place. Not sure if this was a one-time thing (broken team rules, etc.), or if the starting lineup is still pretty fluid this early in the season for coach Key.

 

They have only one player over 6'3", but 6'4" soph Donnie Cheatum is athletic and has some aggressiveness and some skills. He scored 10 with about 8 rebounds against Oldham...

 

Of the 12 seniors, juniors, and sophomores on the roster, only 5 are over 6'0" tall.

 

Craddock led the team in scoring with 11. He showed some range with two threes. He averages about 15 ppg.

 

Tackett averages about 10.

 

Lloyd is 2-2 heading into the game with W-V, after beating Spencer County 65-50 and Villa Madonna 82-67 to start the season, then losing to Dayton and Oldham County (45-59).

 

I think Lloyd has the athletes and the experience to win this game.

Lloyd needs a leader. Someone needs to step up for them. So far no one has stepped up and led this team to their potential. If anyone steps up and leads them... Watch out. I'm hoping they pull this one out. I'll be there tonight rooting for the Juggs.
