The entire football family will be praying for Coach rains and his family.

Our roundball Raiders will be just fine. The dynamic duo will transition from football to basketball and take it to everyone on the hardwood. Don't forget their supporting cast with Wright, Dixon, and Williams this should be the year for the Roundball Raiders.

I can't believe it is only Wed. I am so ready for Friday to get here. 7:30 until around 9:30 is my favorite time of the week this time of year! Can I get an Amen on that!:clap:

I agree, the team who makes the fewest mistakes should win this game so it comes down to who wants it more, who will fight hardest for those precious inches! Go get'em Raiders! A message for the Raider football Players: Pack your lunch boys and go to work! Remember, the dictionary is the only place you will find success before work!

I would agree that winning is a learned habbit just like losing. However, there has been success at the middle school level during many years and people of the county has always asked why McCreary wins at the middle school level and not the high school level. Well, these boys have answered that question, it's the off-season work ethic. This group has had a great work ethic with off-season strength and conditioning. We started as soon as the season was over all the way through summer and had 25 to 30 kids everyday only took the 2 dead period weeks off). In the past we would average 7 or 8 and the 25 or 30 worked hard didn't just show up. McCreary has always had good athletes but they have never been strong enough to compete. But these guys got s lot stronger pumping iron and a lot quicker with plyometrics. My advise for the young Raiders (and any other young football player) you become a good or even great program in the weight room during the off-season working together as a team to get stronger and quicker. Hopefully our young guys will realize this and our off-season strength and conditioning program will even be better next off-season!

Roark had 127 yards on 16 carries with 2 TD's (and he was just getting over being sick earlier in the week so he was about 80%) Watts had 146 yards on 18 carries 2 TD's plus a 74 yard kick off return for a TD. (total all purpose yards 220 and 3TD's) 2 other people scored for us as well including 1 JV TD. Total offense for the night 334 yards.

That is why I asked the queston. I would say that most fans vote for their home team no matter what but the rest of the BGP faithfull usually votes in a manner that reflects how they actually believe the game will go. Also, I noticed last year at one point that the BGP polls were getting most if not all games correct, I mean everyone knows that the KY high school football fans, coaches and players are the smartest football minds in the world! . I also want to say thanks to grizzly33 for the information he provided, I think 75% is pretty good for forum polls.

Add a poll to see if people the BGP polls are accurate or not, that is to funny:laugh: I have accually worked at places that has had meetings to see if we needed to have a meeting about something. What the heck, add a poll I would be curious to see if there are more people who think the BGP polls hold up on Friday's than think they do not!

I was wondering how accurate are the polls at the top of each game prediction threads. Does anyone know what percentage does the team that is leading in the poll actually wins on Friday night. I think it posses an interesting question does anyone have an answer? If not what are everyones opinion on the subject! :idunno:

If you ask me they are a very good team, they are very quick and they hit like trucks! Coach Thompson is doing an excellent job and you will see them in the playoffs and whoever plays them better be ready for a war. Good luck the rest of the way to the Cardinals!

LoL! I decided at the beginning of the season that I wasn't going to get on here and argue my point about our team this year no matter what or brag when we won a game. Let me tell you it has been hard to live up to that with the way we have been playing. It would be so easy to say Ha Ha I told you. But, I have always tried to be true to myself because that allows me to be real with everyone else! I still have tried to answer everyones questions about the Raiders which is what I am doing right now! As far as me giving my team some love...... well, I give them love everyday, and I give them grassers and some gassers as well LoL! I appreciate the love we are now getting from everyone else (except for the few doubters and haters out there) but the things people are saying now is what I have been saying for a couple of years because I have always seen this type of potential in the Raiders. For now, I will give my love to the football Raiders at practice and try to answer everyones questions about stats and things on here. It's not that I am superstitious because it is bad luck to be superstitious! :lol:

I was definately wrong with my prediction. Congrats to Bell. You would think some of us would learn not to bet against them after all they are the "King of the Mountains"! :notworthy:
