Congrats to the Maroons--heck of a comeback. I tried to tell the Rockcastle fans that this one was not going to be easy. Pulaski seems to be firing on all cylinders on offense now and will be tough to beat in their district.

Somebody questioned me when I said on prediction thread that PC might score 42. They were right they didn't score 42, they scored 47. Congrats Maroons on a big win.

I think you picked PC something like 42-32 didn't you? That was pretty darn close.

What was Rock thinking, up 2 scores with 8 minutes to go and passing with the second team backfield in the game. I figured they would grind out the clock and put game away with Rowe and Saylor in backfield. Great win for Pulaski who showed a lot of heart I was just somewhat confused by Rocks game plan in 4th quarter. Rowe is a really nice sophomore running back !

Score was 41-26 Rock with just over 6 minutes left. Pulaski would just not quit! Eastham had 4 TD passes. Abner had 2 rushing & 2 receiving for PC. McQueen had a Kick return for a TD. PC ran 1 offensive play in the entire 1st quarter & it was tied at 14. Rock looked shell-shocked after PC tied it up late. The final TD pass from Eastham to Abner was on 4th & 7 from the Rock 40. PC proved tonight they can play with anyone! So proud of those kids for not giving up! This team is getting dangerous as it gets closer to district play. They MUST get off the field on 3rd down though. I think the only time all night they stopped rock was on the last series. With it being the UNITE Bowl, MVP awards were given out.Mason Flynn was named defensive MVP, Alex Abner offensive.

Sounds like Rockcastle's defense didn't play very well. They will come back strong after this loss though, I have no doubt.

Neither team played defense well Friday night. It was more like an arena game. PC found a way to make a stop when it counted most! Total offensive numbers and time of possession are deceiving. Rock held the ball long periods of time & would have to travel 75-80 yards on drives. PC got the ball at the 40 and beyond to begin every drive after the McQueen TD kick return. Much shorter field. And PC scored so quick! Rock may have thought they could play D, but PC showed Friday night they can score on just about anyone! And it is only to get better as the season goes.

Rockcastle had better learn to tackle this week or it will be a long bus ride home this friday from Log Mountain

Alot of Rock fans were upset about the no call as time expired. The refs had to be escorted to their vehicles by law enforcement, unbelievable it comes to that at a high school game.
