Sounds like Rockcastle's defense didn't play very well. They will come back strong after this loss though, I have no doubt.

Alot of Rock fans were upset about the no call as time expired. The refs had to be escorted to their vehicles by law enforcement, unbelievable it comes to that at a high school game.

They are always escorted off the field after a game. I never seen anyone threaten them. One was just hollering at them as PC had 12 players on the field and no call. I do not think that would have changed the outcome however.

1 game I watched at Rock a few years ago they ran a series of plays 4 or 5 with 12 players on offense against KC. I had to ask the guy with me if I was miscounting twice. I was not. They had 3 RB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE. The Ref's never caught it. The game was at Rock. A few mintues later they ran defense with 12 for 2 plays.

Not only did Pulaski have 12 players on the field in the last play, they hit the Rocks WR with the ball still in the air. There was also a clip at the very beginning of the game, when Pulaski scored their first touchdown. It was very obvious to everyone in the stadium. Also, the refs were from Somerset, (which is in Pulaski Co. :sssh:) :lol:

 

IMO I think the Rock could beat this team in a rematch. I do have a lot of respect for Pulaski and I do think that they are a good football team. They are going to have a good season. The QB did a fine job!

Look forward to seeing these 2 play again next year at PC Field! Pulaski was the better team Friday night. In my opinion, they would beat Rock again if they played next week. But, we all have our own thoughts on things. The so-called clip on the opening kickoff was not a clip. I went back & watched the video. #4 had his helmet in the front of the shoulder pads on the block. There was some contact on the final play, no doubt. Bottom line is PC stopped Rock when they had to & Rock could not stop PC. Time to get ready for Friday night!

I attended this one and was surprised by the outcome. PC's offense was better than I originally thought. In my defense, maybe the Rock was looking ahead to the Bell game a little too soon, IMO. With the score 41 to 26 in the fourth quarter (in the Rock's favor), the Rock had some starters pulled off the field. They were #63, #5, #20, #33, and a few more. This is when the momentum changed. PC was getting all of the breaks and all of the questionable calls were in their favor. The Rock just couldn't stop the momentum. It was great football atmosphere. I defiantly got my moneys worth at this one, though it wasn't hardly as exciting as the UK - Louisville game.

 

I think that PC and the Rock are both terrific teams, that will do good in district play.

 

I look forward to seeing both teams in the playoffs.

The CATS won but, come on, that game Friday night was INSANE!! Great game. That makes 4 out of the first 5 games for PC this season that have been decided in the last 12 seconds! The Maroon faithful can't handle this much more! Looking forward to Friday night.

you might want to watch the film again franchise.. not being rude but the only starter out was rock's beast of a running back and the only reason they took him out was because he was winded after a long runhe returned a play or 2 later! 33 wasn't out except when he got his helmet knocked off.. 4 or 5 times and the #63 kid got hurt late in game or was bleeding something..that was only time they were out of the game..

I don't know if they were in or out (the key players), but if the Rock coaches had watched 10 minutes of film from the 4th quarter of any Pulaski game (except Russell County) they would have know what Pulaski was capable of at the end of a game. No way they should have been out of the game!!!

 

Either they didn't do a good job scouting or, were cocky due to being up by two scores (15 pts)or, everyone was hurt or, thier kids were wore out and needed a blow.

Sounds like poor coaching the way you are explaining it. If neither player was hurt, why were they NOT in the game? The entire defensive unit was in & PC still scored 21 in just over 6 minutes. What's the excuse for that? Saylor never left the field. The game winning catch was made over him with 10 seconds to go. It was another in the long list of classics PC has played over the last 2 years. Everyone learned Friday night... NEVER count this team out!

Great game by both teams. The better team won that night and that is why you play the game!:clap:
