HC 40 Carrol Co. 14 HC in a big win

I am sorry, but I totally disagree with this. I do not think a single one of these players could go D1. JMO though.

Yes they did. I look for this game to be close until the end. If Holy Cross shows up to play like they did for Ryle and New Cath, look for this game to be a close one. They MUST hold Miles Simpson to a minimum amount of yards and must start to pass the ball. I say... HC 21 SK 14

Honestly, I do not know who to pick in this one. I would say Holmes should win, but Holmes has been playing awful lately. It depends on which Holmes team shows up.

How do you think this one will play out?

I honestly thought that Scott would come out and make this a game, but I guess I am wrong. Scott needs to get their act together so they have a respectable football team for years to come.

Newport came ready to play and almost upset HC on their senior night. With this being said, HC kept their composure and pulled out a win in a tough fought battle. Good Job Indians.

I don't think it will be as much of a blowout as some people are saying. In fact, I am going to say Scott wins. Scott-14 Dixie-10

HC- 24 NEWPORT-14 HC seniors will come pumped up on senior night, it is a big district game and HC will NOT take this game lightly. The previous week against Beechwood they had 9 injuries, and this week the majority of the injured players will be back. HC should come out on top.

Beechwood is a very good team. And HC (besides the Holmes game) is a good team too. I am not putting them in the same rank as Beechwood, but I think that this game will be closer than others say it will be. Just my opinion.

Good point. I think this game will be closer though, just because HC will be fired up that it is their homecoming game. Keep in mind that last year at half it was 3-0 . Second half is when Beechwood made adjustments and blew HC away. HC needs to come up with a heck of a gameplan on offense to score the ball on this dominating defense Beechwood has. The defense for HC also needs to lay the wood. If this all comes together for HC, we're in for one good ball game.:dancingpa

Well not as much as Lloyd people seem to do it. But anyways this is not a thread for that arguement, so lets get back to the HC Beechwood game. :thumb:

I know this is not anything about the HC Beechwood game, but I love how Lloyd fans always come onto HC threads and totally just bash HC. Even though HC beat them Just had to get that off my chest:fire:

I agree totally. HC will have to come into this one thirsty for a victory and punch Beechwood in the mouth early in the game and control Teipel to win this game. It is there homecoming so they should be extra fired up. I really have no prediction for this game. It could go either way. If the HC team that played Holmes shows up, there is no doubt Beechwood will win. BUT if the team that played NCC and Ryle comes to play, this game could be a great football game.

Bellevue 24 Lloyd 21 Lloyd has played a much harder schedule but last week Roenker had 215 yards on this Lloyd defense. If they play like that against Bellevue, they are going to have a dissappointing homecoming

HC was more beat up than Lloyd. Yes the starting QB was not hurt but the starting center, reciever/DB, linebacker/fullback, and MLB were all injured in this game. All that matters is that HC won the game, and Lloyd lost. In the end no one cares who was out it is the winner who will be remembered and the loser who will be forgotten. So no excuses. HC played there tails off last night

I agree HC is going to have an intersting season this year, I am looking forward to attending the games and watching some good old basketball:dancingpa

One word for you. DAYTON! Lloyd should be able to defeat Dayton EASILY with their third string quarterback, they are a subpar 1A school.

HC is beating down with injuries, but I can not see HC losing this one, especially with the juggs starting QB injured. I say... HC-21 Lloyd-7

#3 is doing alright, he was taken away on life squad and last I have heard is that he is conciousness, is talking, and is moving all extremities... best of luck to him and his family
