Holmes should win... But it's been said many times before on here. NC may be the most dangerous team in the region when it come to shooting the ball, especially from 3. So if they get hot, they could really push Holmes...

I understand what he's saying, but I don't care whether you're playing in the 9th region, the NCAA tournament, the NBA, or the And 1 mix tape tour. 4 points in a quarter isn't going to cut it....

It just seems to me that even though Holmes is obviosly playing good defense to hold a team to 34, they should be scoring more. Either they need to get more turnover/transition points or more points out of your offense. I looked at the scoring and it seems like I would expect between 4 and 6 more out of some of those guys a night. They could use Pittman and Rico to be around 15 or 16 a game, Riley and JJ and Dom Johnson around 10 or 12, Rice and Housely around 6 or 8, etc.

The question is how important does management view the Defensive Tackle need as opposed to the offensive tackle need. Because I take the best lineman available in the draft and from what I understand Jason Smith is the best lineman available, but BJ Raji may be rated higher than Eugene Monroe...

As more comes out about this story I begin to understand a little more. It was now reproted that Schuyler said that he and Bleakly were knocked off the boat by waves multiple mulitple times but continued to swim back to the boat...

There are 3 other defenders that can help. And if he's hitting from the outside he hits as many 3's as Pangallo will make layups. And I'd rather give up 2's than 3's....

One report that Sal Paolantonio had today said that Schuyler was interviewed once since being recovered and mentioned something about two of them letting themselves out to sea after a few hours. Doctors, however, warned that he was in a delirious state...

I don't like it when people set deadlines and then tell me I am wrong for waiting until the deadline to do the work. Does it ever occur that time is a motivator and some people's best work comes in the day before a deadline? Oh, and lately I have realized that people that don't realize that just because you can do something, doesn't mean it is always something that you should do or that is a good idea annoy me. These people also tend to be very persistant.

I am constantly show extreme sarcasm. It's usually all in fun, and a fair amount of times people end up laughing at it. But sometimes people hear it too much and those close to me will make the comment about once a week "You're such a jerk."

I can't... And like I said earlier, I'm not going to sugarcoat it at all. I don't like being in boats over a large body of water, nevertheless in the open ocean... Scares me to death. You have no idea what is in that water right next to you...

He's an excellent spot shooter. Plays well off of the drive and dish and has an excellent PG to do that. For someone to put their best defender on him I think wouldn't be a smart decision. Tell a defender to not help off of him to stop the drive.

I agree with this because of their ability to hit the three ball... If they get hot like they did against Highlands they can beat anybody.

I heard they searched 24,000 square miles of water. They found the boat and Schuyler, a cooler, and a lifejacket... Not good signs. The search is officially called off at this point. They mentioned on sports center that members of one of the players family may try and keep searching in an amatuer search. With the way that the water has been described on here, and the kind of equipment I heard the coast guard was using, I don't think that is a good idea. I know it is hard for them, and wish them all the luck in the world, but I just don't know how smart it is...

I am somewhat confused on how Schuyler was able to hang on but the rest of them did not.... Were the seas still rough I guess?

From everything I've seen Schuyler said that the four of them didn't have life jackets when the boat capsized, but they swam underneath of it and got them. Breaking news, and it isn't good.... Looks like the coast guard is suspending the search at 6:30 PM. If they aren't found in the next 2 hours and 15 minutes... :cry: Prayers go out to all parties...

Really starting to look like the worst now... I try to keep hope for these guys. Things like this are the reason I avoid the open ocean...

12-16 is second best in their history? Not knocking them, just seems they've had better years, but again, I guess they haven't been around all that long in comparison to some schools:idunno:

I was at a restaurant last week. The bill was something like $8.75. I gave the waitress a $10. She asked if I need change and I said yes because I was still contemplating how much I was going to leave as a tip. She then looked at me as she was handing the cash back and said "No Tip?!" I just turned away and thought... Umm... Not anymore... So I guess that is kinda a pet peeve...

I don't disagree. I do think Boone could make a run, but I don't know if they could bring back the hardware...

My personal belief is that while there may be 4 or 5 of these teams with a legit chance of winning the region, I only see two that could actually make a realistic run at Rupp...
